I had a fairly new driveway (less than 2 years old) that after one winter was already starting to…read morespall. After reaching out to the contractor requesting him to do something was a dead-end, I started researching what could be done to prevent further deterioration. In my search online, I came across Hello Garage. I reached out to them and they quickly scheduled a free consult. The representative looked at my driveway and listened to what I hoped to accomplish and said that their process would apply a sealant that would protect the driveway for years. He referred me to their website with several outdoor before and after pictures. After seeing these photos and reading several glowing reviews online, I decided it would be worth the investment. What I was not told was that Hello Garage would actually send out ANOTHER company to do the work. This company, called Thradher Foundation was NIT who I hired to do this project. I PAID Hello Garage $5000, I never would have contracted with Thrasher because they did not have the good reviews or before/after pics I had reviewed. The entire process with Hello Garage was a total scam- a complete "bait and switch" and a complete disaster and waste of my time and money. There was so much miscommunication and confusion in the process. I have a complete, lengthy record of text messages and scheduling mishaps plus pictures and videos of the end result. MY "Before and After" pics are like an ad of what NOT to do- they which are horrible. All of this was done last summer. The reason I am just now posting this review is because after going through the most recent heavy snow, my driveway is continuing to spall and the crumbling and deterioration is much worse than it was before I contracted Hello Garage to do their treatment. I am so angry over this. I am a teacher and do not have money to just throw away. I did reach out to Hello Garage right after they were "done" and sent pics. Copies of my text messages between myself and the numerous people I had to communicate with through this entire mess. and they sent someone out again from Thrasher to address my concerns. Although that final treatment did not at all, give me the result that I was led to believe I could have, I was resigned to just accept that I had made a bad decision. However after seeing how my driveway is completely crumbling and deteriorating now after going through this past winter, I cannot believe it would've been worse if I would've just left it alone! The pictures they referred me to online were NOTHING like the end result. If I could give them negative stars I would.

I cannot recommend Jorge and his team enough. They were professional and did a fantastic job. Jorge was great at communicating when his team would be there or when he had to step out to get more supplies. He answered our questions every step of the way and was sure to show us the progress of the project so he could answer our questions. When we had a concern he was quick to address it so we were satisfied with the results. They also did great at protecting our home from the dust and debris of the job and then did a thorough clean up when the project was done. I am a busy mom and was in and out of the home and felt totally comfortable with them there while I was gone - which is hard to find nowadays. We have a lot more projects coming up and you better believe we will be hiring Uprise Remodeling again. Our finished project looks amazing. Highly highly recommend.

I cannot begin to say what an amazing experience this was for us. We are more than satisfied with the work that they did. Jorge listened, gave advice, and walked us through some of the decision making. The work was timely, affordable (we had gotten other estimates), as clean as it could be given the work being done, and the guys were very respectful. More than that, we literally trusted these men to be in our home when we weren't. And that is huge! Their attention to detail and work ethic is a breath of fresh air. Apparently, the box of extra flooring they left us was damaged and they couldn't replace it so we asked how much to replace, and we found out that flooring has been discontinued and no other flooring would fit with the existing floor. They could only find 3 different colors of that brand, and this is what we are left with. One side of this dark floor is higher than the rest of the floor and we have already tripped on it. When I called Chris (the salesperson) back after he told my husband he could no longer help us, he was very condescending. Chris was supposed to bring by some samples for us to look at after quoting us a price of $1200 to get the kitchen floor replaced, and yet again he didn't bother to do that. I would not recommend this place. Go to someone who stands behind their work.

Once we installed the flooring, I had 20 extra boxes! Yes, upon purchase, I was told there would be no returns, but how is that an acceptable amount of excess? When I agreed to the purchase, I felt like maybe 2 or 3 boxes but not 20 extra! Paul, the manager, agreed it was not an acceptable amount of overage but refused to do anything about it. I was not allowed to return any boxes despite their error. I regret trusting them in their field. I regret attempting to explain my dilemma to Paul who stated he understood my problem but still refused to help remediate the situation. Very poor professionalism and extremely disappointing business practices. Do not deal with these people at any point. The lack of regard for the customer far overrides the positive aspects of this business. ...Ha! Amazing how they responded. Upon posting this they then responded that "...the quote was adjusted to more materials based on your request." (Another example of this business pushing their problem off onto me, the customer.) I never questioned what was recommended to me beyond making certain I was getting a transition strip. Yes, the timeline was beyond a few months. But that does not negate the fact they grossly miscalculated and then ignored remediating the situation. I wrongly trusted their professionalism. Who's to keep them from tacking on 20 boxes or 30 or 40 onto your order? Should it really matter that the purchase was 8 months prior to? In my humble opinion, they should revisit their policy to exhibit a trust in their employees' ability to meet the customers' needs and to accurately calculate square footage.
