My first visit here was to check out the store, the staff was super friendly and helpful, I made a few purchases and left. My 2nd visit was to use the range with my young son. The range side staff were also friendly and professional. I really only have two complaints, one of which is minor, I have never been to a range that didn't sell "standard silhouette" targets. My 2nd complaint is the reason I doubt I'll ever shoot there again. While bringing my young son, I need an environment where I can communicate range instructions (even though he is a competent shooter). While on the firing line, the concussion from the clowns 2 lanes to our right firing an MSR with a muzzle brake made using the facility nearly unbearable. It would never even occur to me to use a muzzle brake in an indoor range, there should be a rule against it. If this places bans muzzle brakes, I'll change rating to 5 stars and come back and shoot there, I loved everything about this place except the inconsiderate toolbags shooting next to us. read more

DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP HERE, AND DO NOT SHOP HERE IN GENERAL. I was a high-paying customer and brought multiple friends to this club, but the sales associate specifically told me I could cancel anytime, which was not true. I was later told I had to pay $500 to close the membership or it would be sent to collections. Save yourself the headache and go to Keystone Shooting Center instead. read more

We went there for the first time and won't go back. They had us sign waivers with guidelines that they didn't even follow, such as they said they were going to check the guns and ammo and they didn't. They said they didn't allow rapid fire which customers were doing. There was no attendant in the shooting areas to monitor what was going on. And customers were supposed to clean up after themselves which many did not. We did not feel comfortable with the lack of oversight. read more

they have a nice facility but their membership contracts are horrible. I tried cancelling my membership and they wouldn't let me unless I moved away or had a medical issue, so I changed my card information and they still found a way to get my money like it is honestly ridiculous. read more

Tired of this place's behavior/ They've had my accounts F'd up for months. Say they fix it with a fake smile on the managers face and low and behold, next visit. Keep losing "waivers". Takes forever to get checked in and onto the range. I should have taken the platinum membership fee and put it into my private range. Not going back to this corporate sh*tshow. read more

I signed up for 6 months of 4 times a month training at $180 per month. This was the only thing offered unless I wanted 12 months at twice a month for $90. When I was charged for $180 for the seventh month I emailed the trainer and the training manager, neither answered. Both were well aware that I was only interested in the 6 months but neither mentioned the "auto renewal" in the multi-page contract. The training manager was difficult to reach after he signed me up, phone mail box was full and emails were not answered. I never returned for my last 3 sessions. The training was adequate and accomplished my expectations. BEWARE of what they tell you and what is actually in the contract. read more

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions myself and my wife had. Have made many purchases here within the last two months and currently are Platinum Members (if you shoot more then once a week, the membership pays for itself alone in range time) in addition to taking weekly classes there. Range is maintained beyond any other range I've went to in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. It will be tough to find a better place then this imo. read more

They have Horrible service when it comes to FFL transfers. They make you wait an additional 3 days after they receive your firearm which is beyond ridiculous. They take longer to check in your firearm than it took to purchase and then ship the firearm to their store. The person responsible for doing that job (LIDDEL) just seems lazy and inefficient. He is also pretty rude when you talk to him. He just makes excuses why he is too busy to do his job. This process really needs to be streamlined. It doesn't take a genius to write down serial numbers all day, frankly a monkey could do it. They do not put the customer first and frankly have poor customer service. read more

I had a bad experience at Midwest months ago when I went there to pick up a firearm that I had already paid for. Turns out I had to wait an additional 3 days which I was unaware of so the employee responsible for transfers can "check it in". I never experienced this before, despite dozens of transfers completed at other establishments. I usually come in when the firearm arrives and the transfer is initiated. Then the employee at midwest comes out to speak to me to tell me, I was mistaken, this is how it's done everywhere and implied I was a novice and uneducated on the transfer process in general. He was extremely condescending toward myself and treated me like I was ignorant to the firearm transfer Process. I immediately told him I did not appreciate how he was speaking to me to which he continued to be rude and condescending. none of the managers at the time did anything to reprimand that employee. It was pretty much implied that I either accept it or leave. I even called a male manager on the phone the next day to discuss the matter to which I was promptly dismissed and told, "well this is a service we provide to our members and it is what it is". frustrated by the experience I then posted a negative review of my experience at Midwest to yelp Months prior (which seems to have been deleted). Well turns out when I went to Midwest today to pick up another firearm I purchased and transferred, the female sales manager then informed myself she is cancelling my membership due to my negative yelp review months prior. I did not violate any of their member policies, nor did I do anything illegal. But apparently posting an online account of a negative experience about a business was grounds for Midwest shooting center to cancel my membership. this is a warning to everyone else considering membership or active members, Midwest lacks accountability for their actions and they treat their members like garbage. keystone shooting center treats their members with more respect and I will be gladly joining them soon. read more
