Are we in heaven?!…read more I'm from out of town and I've been wanting to pop into Lundeen's for a while now with the expectation that it was just a cute little small town stationery shop. No big deal. It looks tiny on the outside, but the further in you go, the more this shop unfolds into a huge emporium of scintillating goodies. When I walked in, there were books. Books?! Gorgeous childrens' books, (millennial) classics I haven't seen for sale in ages (I Spy, The Rainbow Fish, Where's Waldo), there were beautiful cookbooks, chic plant books, educational books, bird books, frog books, books wrapped up in gift paper ready to be someone's surprise read (Blind Date with a Book!), and two little childrens' reading nooks up a couple of stairs at the front of the store! After the books there were games, toys, puzzles, candy, gifts. And then I realized, this place is HUGE. In the back of the store there's a full on Office Depot situation but only the good stuff, plus a print shop. Ink, paper, cardstock, accounting pads, payroll sheets, carbon paper, large poster boards, folders, pens, highlighters, calculators, clips, tacks, and knick knacks. Prismacolor pencils! The good erasers. The good pencil sharpeners. Graph paper. Transfer paper. Sketch pads. Velum! Fine point markers. Like, high end art store stuff. And then. And THEN. I looked to the side of the store and there ANOTHER opening to a jewelry store! And once you go in there, you see an entirely other part of this store that is just as big as the place you just walked out of. Oh yeah, the stationery! They've got beautiful art on single pieces or card sets, but they've got purses, wallets, decor, kitchen stuff, seasonal towels, aprons, plates, mugs, souvenirs, lip gloss, candles, hot pepper jelly, a whole aisle of Burt's Bees, more kid stuff; they even have a little room dedicated to the clearance section. I don't know a lot about this shop, but I can only assume some of this is locally made and a bunch of vendors have their stuff there? Anyway, budget a couple hours and go peruse this place. The shopping here rivals boutiques in the big city, but with all the charm of Fergus Falls.

The 5X7 card stock kept getting jammed in the printer so I took them to the Office Max print center to have them print everything (wedding invitations, response cards, and accommodation cards) they don't have printers that print anything smaller than 81/2 X 11 pieces of paper. At this point I was getting very frustrated and worried that I wouldn't be able to use the invites I had purchased because even a few other printing companies could not accommodate the size of these invitations. Why would they sell these sets if they don't work in most printers! Finally I called Quality Printing Co. and they said they were able to help me, I wasn't going to believe it until they were printed. I went to their store and they were able to help adjust the formatted that I had already on a flash drive; they worked with me until I was completely happy with the look of the invites. I left to run a few errands and I received a call 30 minutes later telling me that everything was ready to be picked up. I couldn't believe how quick they were. Their prices are extremely reasonable, 270 prints for a total of $26 including tax. This place is amazing, I highly recommend them!
