The owner, Pete, was very accommodating and professional about the whole situation and scheduled my drives quickly and efficiently. They give you full driving lessons here, starting with parking strategies and real-world applications of what will be on the driving test at the DMV. After my child took the classroom portion, I was called to sign her up for behind the wheel to…read morecomplete both parts within 9 months. For several reasons I was holding off on the driving portion, which for any other driving school is fine. I was told from drivers edge that the state would "revoke" my child's permit if it wasn't done; totally false information - after speaking to 2 other driving schools and the DMV. The SCHOOL is the one who revokes the permit. This was a bullying tactic to get my child in within the timeframe so drivers edge could get their money. The horrid office person, Rachel, was one of the most rude, ignorant people I've ever dealt with, and I've been in customer service for many, many years. She refused to give me the number to the state person she told me does the revoking (because she was obviously lying.) Tim, the owner, was very nice and really tried to work things out, but after dealing with such a nasty person that he employs I just couldn't give any more of my hard earned money to support her paycheck. After I told him this and that I was going to take my child to finish up elsewhere, he actually started bad mouthing another driving school. I never told him who I spoke with, but it was the one he was putting down, and the shame is that the other school said not one bad thing about drivers edge. They just gave me the facts that the state doesn't revoke permits, it's either the driving school or the high school (for extremely poor grades.) My advice is ask if they will revoke your child's permit if they don't complete the course within 9 months, because it seems this is the only driving school with this policy. Also, go with someone who appreciates you as a customer and you want to support, not people who lie and are rude.

His primary focus is improving the student's road skills; everything else comes second! He provides really good guidelines about the road rules of Illinois. He would also make us feel comfortable by talking about his learning experience. The USP of this driving school is that, unlike other driving schools, Imran is focused on ensuring his students become excellent, efficient, smart and defensive drivers, no matter what their current level of expertise in driving is! He identifies the areas of improvement and the mindset shift that is needed and gives us more practice in those areas. For example, I am used to the driving attitude from a different country.
