My son needed a mole removed from his hairline. I called Midwest dermatology and made an appointment with Dr. Delis. He took care of my sons mole right away. My son was pleased with the results and the doctor as well. I needed some assistance with a dermatologist as well. So I made an appointment with Dr. Delis. I have been very pleased with the service I have received from Dr. Delis, he is very conscientious and listens to what you have to say then he acts accordingly. His staff is professional as well, Grace was the first person I spoke to when I made my appointment on the telephone. She was polite and friendly. We've gone here a few times over the years for a variety of reasons - moles, dry skin, acne. We see Dr. C. who is very friendly and outgoing and not worried about how long she is talking to you. That's a good thing unless you get a later in the day appointment and you will have to wait. I've been to one other dermatologist and they almost seemed like a spa. They were very focused on all the botox and facial upkeep products. This place isn't like that. Sure there are a few things placed around the waiting area, but it's very unobtrusive and not the focus. This year son #3 was here for a mole removal and son #2 just got some help with his acne. Both times we got very detailed instructions and everyone was happy. Wouldn't it be great if every medical place you visited was like that? read more

I have been to their location in Arlington Heights twice, and both times had a pleasant experience with a great doctor. However, I have moved in the past year and had to make an appointment at this location with a different doctor since I was only home for a week. The doctor saw me for about five minutes, I expressed concern over some mild acne I'd been experiencing, and she diagnosed me with rosacea and prescribed topical meds to treat it. I looked at the photos of rosacea on the wall and didn't see any similarities, but I trusted the physician. From April through October, my skin went through HELL and it eventually did look like I had rosacea from the effects of these meds. I am now back in my normal routine and my skin looks fine. I would just advise caution to anyone "diagnosed" with rosacea at this location. read more

I seen another doctor with the same problem, and was very unhappy with the out come (among other things) and the problem persist, here they listen to me and was able to help me. Dr. James Delis is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I met in the last several years. His main goal is to treat you patient with whatever issue you visit him in his designated field. I had few different issues with my skin in the last few years and he was able to treat me every time to perfection. I came here to get a bump on my knee looked at. Dr Delis looked at it and proceeded to remove it in the same visit. This was a great, because 2 years ago I had another dermatologist look at it and said it required small surgery at huge cost. Dr. Delis even took care of a few other items on my face at the same time. I would recommend him for sure, I sent my wife over and she really likes him too. read more

went there yesterday and had a terrible experience. Before making the appointment I was asked if I prefer a me or female dr. I said I prefer male. however, when the doctor came in he had a young female assistant who took a few notes down. Needless to say I felt very uncomfortable, especially upon leaving when I could overhear the girls that work there talking about me. Mr. Carter rushed me out of that exam room so quick. When he spoke, he talked so fast I could not hear him. I told him I was considering laser removal of a mole and he said they don't "prefer to do that for legal reasons". He explained that he would have to cut out the mole and make a deep pocket in my skin that would have to be stiched up but would leave a noticeable scar. He did not care about the issues I had and was very unprofessional. I even asked him him what I could do for some small stretch marks I have. He said there was nothing that could be done. I understand that is correct for the most part, but he didn't even give advice about diminishing them over time by suggesting to drink lots of water or use a product that boosts collage. He flat out said there was nothing I could do. Listen to this warning and STAY AWAY from the bloomingdale location and Mr. Carter. I saw Dr. Carter recently at the Bloomingdale location, and I had a really good experience! The staff was friendly and professional, I barely had any wait time, and I felt that the doctor spent a long time with me answering all my questions and was very thorough. I never felt rushed, and I thought Dr. Carter was very friendly and down-to-earth. I definitely will be going back if I have any more skin issues. read more

Frustrating staff in Arlington Heights; I messed up my appointment time and was treated like a naughty child by the woman at the reception desk. Dr. Downes refused to make time to see me and then I was told I would have to wait another 6 weeks before I could get into the Bloomingdale office. Insult to injury they were going to charge me for my missed appointment, which was completely unintentional on my part. Both my husband and daughter have been seen my Dr. Downes and they found her "bedside" manner very strange. read more

New patient here. The doctor was very knowledgeable but seemed to have rushed through the appointment. Considering it was the end of the day, fine I get it. I went in on Thursday for an appointment and my prescription still has not been sent to my pharmacy. I called the office left a message and then spoke to a receptionist after waiting 3 hours after my message and she tells me they were back logged, then apologizes but as I was about to say something she says have a nice day and hangs up... cool... read more

I had a very small growth on my face and wanted it examined. The dermatologist I met with had no idea what it was and suggested she do a biopsy that would not hurt and heal up with petroleum jelly. I ended up with a hole in my right cheek that is horrible. I am currently undergoing multiple laser treatments and my face is scarred forever. Do not go here! read more

WOW!!! I called to make an appointment - i have great insurance by the way. They told me they wouldn't take my appointment because apparently I owe them 50.00 for a missed appointment fee?? LOL - maybe someone should have emailed or called if that was a concern. Absolutely dumbfounded that they would turn away a patient, with great insurance and not even take an appointment for 50.00!! Leone DC - how about this: Take the appointment and have the patient settle up at the time they come in to be treated???? Went here today and saw Dr.Delis. What a nice doctor he was to my 8 year old son. My son had Molluscum and was told by another dermatologist the solution was to pick them off at home. Dr. Delis froze the problem and was very nice to my son. My son was so upset because couldn't wrestle at his tournament and now should be ready to by next weekend. The doctor was making sure he could get him heal as fast as possible for my son. I'm super happy with my visit today! read more

I was looking for a new dermatologist and made an appointment 4 weeks in advance for a new patient appointment. The woman who helped me with the appointment told me the first available date and I told her that would not work for me as I would be out of town. So she said she had an appointment for the following week and I said that would be fine. I arrived on the day of my appointment and after signing in and waiting 10 min, they called me to the front desk. I was informed that I should have been there last week for my appointment and that there was no way they could see me today. I was understandably upset and told her the situation, how I never made it for that week, but they didn't care. They said I was going to have to come back and couldn't fit me in for ANOTHER 3 weeks! I was incredibly frustrated but I said ok and decided to give them another chance. The nail on the coffin for me was when I received a bill in the mail for a missed appointment. I called the billing dept, livid beyond belief, and they told me they would wave it one time but next time I would have to pay for MY mistake!! I immediately called and canceled my appointment because there was no way I wanted to go there after the way I was treated. I highly recommend going elsewhere, they do NOT value their patients here. read more

Went there to see a dermatologist for skin itch. Was seen by Dr. Carter. Was not examined (itch on rear end) and was given a diagnosis of Excema with a cream Elidel that costs 500 dollars (insurance does not cover it). Got the cream from pharmacy and it's notes state that it has skin cancer causing side effects. I was disappointed that the doctor never informed me of this side effect (pretty significant) and gave me a diagnosis of Excema without examination. read more

Terrible. They did a treatment on my son's face. I let them know it didn't work multiple times. They never called back but called me obsessively for the remaining balance and sent me to a collection agency. I paid it in person and they said - NO SERVICE IS guaranteed. They would not look at him again unless I handed over more money. They really don't care about people. Just the almighty dollar. My son looks so much worse now. read more

On September 6, 2016, I had an appointment scheduled with one of the doctors at this clinic. I made this appointment out of necessity and convenience being close to my place of employment. The name of this doctor was Samreen Choudhry. I noticed when I was brought into the room the equipment laid out on the small tray was not covered. When the doctor entered I told her that due to the placement of the raised mole that needed to be removed she should use the Hyfrecater. Of which she gleefully replied, "I like to cut!" This seemed out of place and completely unprofessional. By September 15th the site was completely infected. I had called and was given a script for a topical antibiotic. On the 16th the infection spread to more than double its size. When I called into the office I was told that there were no openings and the doctor that I saw was no longer with the practice! I had to make an appointment with my own GP and was immediately put on oral antibiotics. Within three days I had grown worse and was running a high fever. My doctor called me in again to run a MRSA test. While this test came back negative, I feel it was completely the fault of an incompetent doctor who refused to cauterize the site just to satisfy her own sick needs.... So after spending the original $50 co-pay at this practice. I was forced to ante up with an additional $70 for two subsequent doctors visits and another $45 for prescriptions. Leone has since refused to contact me at all and I am now forced to contact the IL State board of Dermatology. read more

Medical service was just about Ok..and the appointment procedure was smooth too..but after the appointment- this is when your TROUBLE begins..they will seen you umpteen number of payment notices...they will harass you with those letters..like you will run away without payments..an appointment with a non-specialist can land you with more than $200 bills...i would be very careful while dealing with them next time..and would definitely Avoid them.. read more

I came to this facility because my family said it was great and they have been going for years.. I had an appointment on a Monday afternoon and was the only one in the waiting area. I have minor acne and want to get rid of it because I'm an esthetician and people see my skin every day at work, and I have tried everything to get rid of it! My last resort was seeing a dermatologist and what a WASTE of my time. The doctor looked like she was 20 years old, she rushed through my appointment and put on an act that she knew what she was talking about... I brought all my past skin care for her to dig deep and figure out what the problem was for my acne and she didn't even bother to take time to look and investigate. The best part is she just told me to use DOVE BAR SOAP. Which every one knows that is the most dehydrating thing for your skin... And Cediphil. I could of just googled that for myself. Waste of $50 for 5 minutes of us sitting back there. She did prescribe me for medications which was what I wanted anyway, but no knowledge whatsoever. Never going back. read more

DON'T GO HERE!!! This place is terrible. When I was calling for an appointment, they asked what I wanted treated, I told them and asked if they dealt with those symptoms, and they said sure, come on in. When I finally went for the appointment, they referred me to someone else because they didn't treat the symptoms I had! 7 minutes with the doc-she didn't seem to care about what I was talking about, or know the latest information on how to treat certain conditions. She didn't have solutions or answers. I talked to the office staff, and they didn't seem to care. I got much more information on the internet about my questions than this doctor seemed to know. Front staff is terrible, doctors are terrible, waste of time and money (esp after waiting 4 weeks for an appointment, and waiting years to go to a dermatologist because of my insurance). I had an infected absess cyst on back of my head in scalp. It was large, puss filled and painful. I met with the Physicians Assistant Christine on a Thursday afternoon last week. She took some samples of the puss and proceeded to give me some samples of a Doxycyclin antibiotic, the remainder to be provided by a Carepoint pharmacy. She said it should make it feel better soon. Well, four days no better so I had to get to an Urgent Care Dupage Medical since they were closed on weekend. The Doctor on staff asked who reviewed it before and I told him. He said it should have been lanced and drained and packed right then and there as it was a serious bacterial infection. He said it was not the correct antibiotic so he prescribed for me Clindamycin after he proceeded to do the lance/draining procedure and cleaned and packed it up. He told me to come back in two days so they could take out the drain/packing. He hinted that he thought the PA, Christine at Leone Dermatology was incompetent as she should have brought a doctor in on that one right then and there. read more
