I have been a patient here for approximately 3 years. I go in three times a year for cleanings…read more (More often than usually recommended because I had some issues with my gums and want to prevent a recurrence.) They are friendly and efficient without being rushed, and the appointments start on time. Their office is nicely decorated and in good condition. Last Wednesday, I bit my tongue badly, it was bleeding for a few hours. I thought it would heal up quickly, the following Monday there was still a little portion that was partly detached and flapping out from the side. I called them Monday morning, and they were able to fit me in an hour after I called. Dr. Ted examined my tongue and told me that it will heal fine on its own and educated me about how the tongue heals. He said that there were procedures that they could do but they likely wouldn't help, it will heal fine on its own and grow back to its normal shape over time. He gave me an ointment and recommended that I avoid spicy food for a few days and keep it clean with a mouth rinse. I was so relieved to hear that my tongue would be okay, and on top of that . . . there was no charge for the visit! That was really nice and unexpected, and makes me feel valued as a loyal patient. I've had a lot of bad experiences recently with other medical providers -- hour long waits, waiting on hold or not being able to reach anybody on the phone, unreasonably high bills for small services, etc. It's really nice to have a dentist that doesn't do any of that, that provides excellent and friendly service at a reasonable price. I expect that I'll remain a loyal customer and will recommend Dr. Ted's practice to family and friends if they are looking for a new dentist.

The fact that he cleaned Max the Gorrilla's teeth and still had all his fingers was a strong enough recommendation for me. Over the years Dr. Heinrichs replaced several old filings and capped teeth only if the original tooth was too fragile. At all times he was gentle yet thorough. One day after a cleaning I thought I needed a cavity filled. Dr. Heinrichs had a full schedule but Dr. Jan Bosserman was available. You can imagine my surprise when Dr. Bosserman looked at the X-Ray and pointed out the tooth that needed a ROOT CANAL! I began to squawk then heard Dr. Heinrich's laughing, stating he knew if I heard root canal, I would bolt, never to return. To say I was profoundly happy that Dr. Bosserman did my root canal is an understatement. He was very calm and and I never experienced a moment of pain or discomfort before, during or after the procedure. Not that I would recommend a root canal as a way to spend an afternoon but I am not afraid to have another one if needed. I now see Dr. Craig Burrow as my primary dentist. He is young enough that I won't have to train a new dentist, smart as a whip and as with everyone in this office, he is so personable. He always takes the least invasive yet most thorough approach to dentistry. He discusses various options if available and is very up fromt about costs. I have found Tower Dental to be willing to work with you if a procedure is very expensive. Recently Dr. Burrow accepted my mother as a new patient. She had been experiencing problems with her dentures and eating. After an examination and adjustments to her current dentures, we decided to purchase a new pair. The amount of time and care given to my mom was incredible. From the moment Lindsey helped my mom from her van into the office to assistance leaving, my mom was shown such loving care and respect. I would recommend any elderly parent be treated as a patient in this practice. The rest of the office staff? What can I say. You are a stranger here just once. All the hygienist and office staff are warm and welcoming. They know if you have a favorite hygienist, work with your schedule and I have never had a problem getting in when I have had an emergency. Their calm demeanor help Dental Phobics like me relax and almost believe I'm going to enjoy the trip. I cannot recommend Dental Tower Care more highly. They certainly have put a smile on my face.

He is warm, patient, and kind. Jess did a great job with my deep cleaning. I can't remember the name of the hygienist that works with Dr Smith (Marlene maybe???) I might not remember her name but I certainly remember her great attitude and calming nature. They are two of the most understandings and caring health care professionals I've encountered. Both of them are super supportive of the recovery community. No one likes going to the dentist, but everyone from front the office staff to the billing in the back are awesome at their jobs and take great pride in their work. I was recently laid off and will be transitioning into new insurance. I wanted to have everything taken care of while my deductible was met. The staff got me scheduled for ALL my dental work in one day! There is no way I could have had 4 filings replaced and a tooth extraction AND a root tip removal in one day anywhere else. My 10AM appointment to have two fillings replaced went exactly as scheduled- while checking out the office staff informed me of a 3pm last minute cancellation. They had me come back that afternoon for two more filling replacements. I jokingly told Dr Smith why not just pull the tooth and root tip too? And he did! I wanted to get it all out of the way as soon as possible. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time. His hygienists in the afternoon switched around my bite block and modified some things to maximize my comfort. No one loves seeing the dentist, but it's about as painless as possible with the great the great team at Frankel Dentistry! I had a consult between appointments regarding dental implants and both of the ladies who helped me were great. They gave me so much information and even got me a referral for Invisalign. I might have a little pain today, but I've definitely got a lot to smile about.

When she came to do my exam, she acted like she could not be bothered to explain my care plan or my needs to me. And she got frustrated when I was confused and asked questions. When I got frustrated in response to her, her tone and approach got increasingly ruder. As a dental provider, I would expect her to display at least SOME level of kind bedside manner. This was just the opposite. She didn't want to have to explain anything or answer questions, and she acted like me asking questions was bothering her. Also, the day prior to my appointment, I received a phone call saying that I "had to call back to confirm my appointment" same day or it would be cancelled. I received texts notifying me of my appointment but NONE of those texts said to affirmatively "Confirm" my appointment or respond in anyway. They were just informational messages. I never received a text or any message saying that I needed to affirmatively confirm. So when I got the phone call and called them back, the receptionist explained that they had a "new policy" where you "must" confirm your appointment by the day prior or it will be cancelled. I received no notification of this policy. I explained that the text messages I received never sought or asked for affirmative confirmation either. I was again met with frustration and apathy. There were also comments made about how they would not recommend replacing a crown if it was done within 2 years because then "insurance wouldn't pay for it." But if it was more than 2 years ago, they would recommend getting a new crown. Whether I actually needed a new one didn't matter. That tells me their care decisions are driven by money. Frankly, the entire business model feels like a money grab and like they do not care about CARING for their patients.
