I did try out another dentist for a bit due to insurance but ended up going back to Dr. Meiers because he's so wonderful! He's always sparks up interesting conversation and is so friendly. That being said, it doesn't hold up the appointment and I'm always in and out of the clinic in less than 45 minutes. I see many reviews about the receptionists but I totally disagree. They've each been welcoming to me over all the years. I go here typically every 6 months on the dot, so I don't think that's a fluke! I haven't once had a bad experience here. I really liked reed approachuntil I talk to other dentist and they made me realize his approach is fubar. Reed likes to tell people not to take care of cavities until they are painful and the problem. This would be like a plumber telling you not to repair a leak but to wait until the linebreaks and your basement is flooded. Reedpreformed a root canal on me the root canal started giving me issues so I went in and had an x-ray done at a different dentist because I had moved and I had found out, out of my four roots he had only cleaned out twoand he had only filled one and a third of the roots. I tried calling reed three times to ask him if this was his normal protocol or if I was entitled to some sort of refund since he had not finished the work you have started. I talked to three dentist and to malpractice attorneys they all said this is extremely below the level of proper care and that I had a great case if I were to want to sue reedbut I was too close to the statue of the limitation. So I decided to say the hell with it but then I went in today to have one of the cavities that Reed told me was no big deal filled todayand because I had waited so long that the tooth had completely cracked I now have to have a crown put on. So in the last six months reeds subpar work has cost me $7000 to fix the $4000 worth of work he has done and he refuses to return any of my phone calls. But I know The office realizes he messed up. I hope anyone reading this understands I am not knocking Amanda Brendan she is a great dentist my only concern is that she takes advice from Reed. I hope reed sees thisand is willing to make a rebuttal or just pick the phone up and give me a call I would love to resolve this I tried for months not to put this on yelp but since I have no other way to get this message outhere we are. They said these have been forming since I didn't do well at taking care of my teeth (3-4 years ago) and now I have to deal with the fact that I need to constantly watch out for my teeth, and I have to get 2 cavities filled. They never once brought up these spots to me, and now my permanent teeth that I will have for the rest of my life are damaged. This place is terrible, would not recommend. The staff is nice, but they need to do better at actually telling their patients when they have cavities that are forming or current cavities. Please do not go here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schreiner for years (15 at least) and when he moved to the new building I followed him. This new location has several dentists practicing in it so if you prefer a dentist make sure you request your appointment to be with them. But it's also convenient because if you need to be seen soon you could easily see another dentist. Dr Schreiner has taken care of all of my families dental needs since I moved to the Cedar Valley. He and his staff is personable and take very good care us. I've recommended several coworkers to his practice and they are always pleased.
