They said these have been forming since I didn't do well at taking care of my teeth (3-4 years ago) and now I have to deal with the fact that I need to constantly watch out for my teeth, and I have to get 2 cavities filled. They never once brought up these spots to me, and now my permanent teeth that I will have for the rest of my life are damaged. This place is terrible, would not recommend. The staff is nice, but they need to do better at actually telling their patients when they have cavities that are forming or current cavities. Please do not go here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schreiner for years (15 at least) and when he moved to the new building I followed him. This new location has several dentists practicing in it so if you prefer a dentist make sure you request your appointment to be with them. But it's also convenient because if you need to be seen soon you could easily see another dentist. Dr Schreiner has taken care of all of my families dental needs since I moved to the Cedar Valley. He and his staff is personable and take very good care us. I've recommended several coworkers to his practice and they are always pleased.

That being said, it doesn't hold up the appointment and I'm always in and out of the clinic in less than 45 minutes. I see many reviews about the receptionists but I totally disagree. They've each been welcoming to me over all the years. I go here typically every 6 months on the dot, so I don't think that's a fluke! I haven't once had a bad experience here. I have an adult daughter with a mental disability, that I have guardianship for, and I have scheduled ALL of her appointments- doctors, dentists, eye doctor, etc. but suddenly this secretary tells me I can't do it. Strange how I've done it for my daughter's entire life with every appointment she's ever needed, but now they say I can't. I guess after 57 years I will now be looking for a new dentist. His 'expert' recommendation was for composite veneer work. If I knew then what I know now I never would have let him near me. For the 3rd time (2nd time on the same spot) Vandello's shoddy dentistry work has broken. My front tooth that was broken and then fixed by a real dentist back in 2010 has broken for a second time. That composite veneer work lasted for over 8 years. 8 years of eating, drinking, and having a wonderful time. Dr. Michael Vandello took what was a solid structure and hobbled it with his lack of skill, or maybe it was his lack of care for the health of my teeth. Before the work was done, I was not told that the teeth would be "softer." I was not told that I would need to move to a "fork diet," meaning no sandwiches, pizza, or the like unless it was cut up and served on a fork. None of this was said AT ALL. That is until Vandello's shoddy construction began to crumble. Then all the warnings spewed forth. AFTER THE FACT THAT HE HAD SHAVED MY TEETH DOWN AND DONE SUCH A POOR JOB! I had composite veneer work done to 3 teeth. They now ache on occasion and two broke within a week of his work and I had to go back to get them fixed. I was given no info prior to the work what was actually being done, or the significant risk of them breaking. Now, while I am out of town for the week, Dr. Vandello's shoddy work has broken again. This time whilst drinking a Coke Zero from a plastic bottle. This man has ruined the health and structure of three of my teeth. Do not trust him with your teeth! I am hopeful that some dental solution can be found, but that doesn't negate the fact that I will have to walk around and show off my broken smile as I meet new colleagues. I am just at a loss of words for how low I feel right now. Having a nice smile is important to me and having this broken jagged front tooth is something everyone will remember after they meet me or see me open my mouth. I received HORRIBLE care from Dr. Vandello. I will never be going back and intend to share my terrible experience with anyone and everyone who will read/listen. I'll be looking into what can be done about this breach of trust, and more importantly the blatant disregard Vandello has for the health of my smile.

I will no longer be having anything to do with their business!
