His 'expert' recommendation was for composite veneer work. If I knew then what I know now I never would have let him near me. For the 3rd time (2nd time on the same spot) Vandello's shoddy dentistry work has broken. My front tooth that was broken and then fixed by a real dentist back in 2010 has broken for a second time. That composite veneer work lasted for over 8 years. 8 years of eating, drinking, and having a wonderful time. Dr. Michael Vandello took what was a solid structure and hobbled it with his lack of skill, or maybe it was his lack of care for the health of my teeth. Before the work was done, I was not told that the teeth would be "softer." I was not told that I would need to move to a "fork diet," meaning no sandwiches, pizza, or the like unless it was cut up and served on a fork. None of this was said AT ALL. That is until Vandello's shoddy construction began to crumble. Then all the warnings spewed forth. AFTER THE FACT THAT HE HAD SHAVED MY TEETH DOWN AND DONE SUCH A POOR JOB! I had composite veneer work done to 3 teeth. They now ache on occasion and two broke within a week of his work and I had to go back to get them fixed. I was given no info prior to the work what was actually being done, or the significant risk of them breaking. Now, while I am out of town for the week, Dr. Vandello's shoddy work has broken again. This time whilst drinking a Coke Zero from a plastic bottle. This man has ruined the health and structure of three of my teeth. Do not trust him with your teeth! I am hopeful that some dental solution can be found, but that doesn't negate the fact that I will have to walk around and show off my broken smile as I meet new colleagues. I am just at a loss of words for how low I feel right now. Having a nice smile is important to me and having this broken jagged front tooth is something everyone will remember after they meet me or see me open my mouth. I received HORRIBLE care from Dr. Vandello. I will never be going back and intend to share my terrible experience with anyone and everyone who will read/listen. I'll be looking into what can be done about this breach of trust, and more importantly the blatant disregard Vandello has for the health of my smile.

I gave him ONE last shot by calling when my teeth where in major pain, his suggestion, knowing my allergies to NSAIDS for years now; take Tylenol/NSAID, as you can alternate since they work differently. I KNOW that, I have a LOT of medical knowledge growing up with a PA, nurses, etc...I also was a tech, trained med coder, UC & have had near 10 surgeries, so I do know quite a bit. I don't know what's happened to Drs in the CV with this, stick up their butt syndrome/less intelligent issue! Maybe it's something in the water or what someone else said, the Covid Vaccine made people dumb down & loose the ability to think correctly. ‍ the person who said it may be the vaccine said she no longer is as sharp after having one. I had a extremely painful rash on my face, neck, scalp, armpit, and groin area. I had been seen…read morehere for these issues a total of 6 times for this issue. Going to People's for 10+ years with two of my children. This rash flared up on my face and was so extremely itchy and painful so I decided to go in to People's again. This doctor named Samantha told me it was acne again. I decided to use my god given right and leave her appointment to get a second opinion. This doctor here accused me of acting erratic and said I was on drugs because of scabs on my face. Later that night DHS and a police officer showed up at my house to tell me about these allegations made against me. I had to wear a drug patch on my arm for a week to prove I was not on meth. And now am anticipating a home visit by DHS all thanks to this doctor. I am so incredibly disgusted to find out this hospital would accuse me of such things. All because I exercise my human right which is free will free choice. Since then my drug test came back perfectly fine and I have been referred to a dermatologist who has classified my rashes as unspecified and also they believe it's eczema or psoriasis. I refuse to ever go back to this hospital again. Anybody that I talk to I will refer them and tell them to not go there according to my experience. It's truly horrifying what this doctor accused a single mother of when she knew the truth and she was just simply offended I did not take her diagnosis. I have already did an intake at another local hospital which is where I'll be taking my children also. I hope nobody ever goes through what I went through. Please if you feel a doctor is not listening to your symptoms and diagnosing you wrong please go get second opinion no matter what that is your right!
