I had to call again both the credit department and the debit department to have new cards issued and sent out, of which neither have arrived and it's been 18 days. When I called, the associates on the other end in the debit, credit, and disputes departments were rude and condescending. She couldn't believe I had questions regarding disputes on my account that thier company allowed to happen in the first place. A settlement was offered, and the remainder was to be covered by GAP. The bank initially claimed they accepted it and needed time to "process." Instead, we spent over six weeks being harassed for a payment we were specifically told not to make. The bank then stated they "couldn't verify" that our insurance representative was legitimate -- which is absurd and unprofessional. After a formal credit complaint was filed, they suddenly accepted the same settlement they claimed they couldn't process. Today, my credit score dropped 65 points for their delay and incompetence. This bank's internal communication, accountability, and customer service are unacceptable. Their actions caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and serious financial damage. I would strongly advise avoiding this institution.
