He even brought me into the garage to show me exactly what was wrong. I was stressed beforehand because I thought it was going to be an expensive fix, but they didn't charge which was so appreciated and unexpected. We've had a couple of heavy storms since, and not a single drop has leaked in. Problem completely solved, highly recommend! Worst experience ever... I had a rock damage my little truck…read moreglass this week. Called insurance, yup good coverage. So I had been hearing the commercials for safelite.. I thought on site glass repair or replace... I first had a small crack... But it is that time of the year Next am it was4 times the size by the time e guy got here In the late afternoon. All the way to the edge, so repair was not an option. They had to order the glass and the trim, for a sat appointment. Sat am got an email that noon to five pm they should be over. So I killed a couple of hours waiting for noon... I was back here by 9:30 am they guy had already been here... I rang him back an he would be here in 50 min. And was trying to be done for the day.. Ok so I decided to help him out and remove the trim and wipers and rear view mirror. He finally shows up I was removing the cowl trim.. He got on the phone and was talking with some one... Then after he got off he said he could not do the replacement as there was rust on the seam..... I thanked him for waist ing my time.... After he was gone, I took a look... Not too bad on the rust... I think he was just making an excuse to go home.... Off to a local glass shop near me... They looked, and stated it was not that bad and that the urethane should seal it just fine... They ordered e glass for next week.. And we're all smiles and happy to help! So safelite zero and local small town shop 10! Never again will I call safelite! Total waste of time!
