We were surprised by the nicely updated establishment and interesting decor items. One of my pet peeves is not being greeted or acknowledged when first arriving at a restaurant or bar. That was no problem here! We immediately got a friendly hello and were brought our beverage of choice within a few minutes! We were then given a very nice menu, easy to read with a very nice selection from typical deep fried appetizers to traditional bar food up to some nice full menu dinner choices. We ordered the recommended meal of the day and WOW did that hit the spot. The owner actually made a stop by our table to assure everything was good. Had a nice chat with him and even given a short history of the area and his establishment. I would highly recommend this place. Next time we're in the area we will stop in again!

My husband never got his and we never got the rolls that were to come with the meal. They should be embarrassed to have that kind cook and what we experienced. I called the restaurant to speak directly with the owner (never caught him/there) then got his home number and either doesn't answer or whatever. His message recorder's always full. We could have taken care of this personally, but can't when you make it impossible. We will never............................return. I have a big voice and will pass the news on.
