I am writing this review because I wanted to spread out the word to those of you who are still looking for an excellent dentist. I started going to Midway Square Dental about a year ago because of a referral from a friend and I am very thankful for that referral. I wanted to give it a try because their location was an easy commute from downtown where I work and I could easily take the orange line and walk to the clinic. Everybody is always very pleasant and on almost all my visits, I was sitting on the dental chair at my appointment time, which is great because at my previous dentist there were times I had to wait half an hour before they would call me in. I believe there are three dentists there but my experiences are specifically related to both Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Bicakci and the hygienist. I had two cleaning sessions and they replaced six old fillings that were more than 15 years old and had started to give me pains. During my visits I did not mind seeing any of the doctors and both doctors were always very pleasant, answered all my questions and spent enough time with me explaining why my pains occurred and suggested treatment options that fit my budget the best. My new fillings feel and look great and I never had any pain afterwards. Now that I am all fixed up, I will probably only need cleaning for many years to come. Also, while I was sitting on the dental chairs I noticed that both doctors have multiple degrees in dentistry and to me more education is always good especially if you run into any complications. I recently started to take my five year-old daughter there, and the female doctor and the hygienist have interacted with her so well that my daughter does not mind going to a dentist now. I have been going to Midway Square Dental since 1998. The previous owner was nice and so are the new owners. I love how the new owners have refreshed the office with new chairs for patients, wooden floors, newer technology, and lower wait time. The best thing that the new owners have done is lower the price of treatments as I noticed my bills are lower than the previous owners but the quality is still the same. I used to have bad staining on my teeth which resulted in long cleanings and the previous dentists would always ask me if I smoked, drink coffee, etc... which I did not do. The new owners are a couple from Turkey and the husband/dentist asked me if I used mouthwash and I said I used Listerine. He recommended that I stop which I did and then 6 months later, I didn't have any staining on my teeth and have not since. I am thankful that the owners are not promoting any products or services but are looking out for the best interest of the patients. My teeth cleanings are now faster thanks to the advice of the owner and I have not had any issues with my teeth as the hygienists have been professional and thorough in their service. The front desk have always billed me correctly since 1998 and they've done a great job of reminding me of appointments 2 times before the appointment date and have worked with me in case I needed to reschedule. read more

I recently completed my treatment at Midway Square Dental and could not be more pleased. My treatment consisted of having a tooth extracted and being replaced with an implant. The thought of having this treatment gave me so much anxiety that I put it off for quite some time. I did plenty of research on the procedure as I wanted to be prepared to make the best decision both health wise and financially. I met with Dr Hirant Bicakci and was so happy that he took the time to answer all my questions and give me different options on replacement. After speaking with Dr Bicakci I met with the ladies at the front desk. They were so welcoming from the minute I walked in and did such a great job explaining my payment options. The procedure was nothing what I had expected. It seriously was pain free! The recovery was quick and I was back to work the very next day. I really liked how they showed concern for me by calling the next day to ask me how I was feeling. Three months after my surgery Dr Nihal Bicakci completed my crown. She explained to me that she wanted my teeth to look as natural as possible and she would make sure we were both happy with the results. I recommend Midway Square Dental to all my friends and family. I absolutely love my new smile and the care I received at Midway Care Dental! Finding a great dentist is no easy task, but I can finally say I found "the one". After many unpleasant experiences with various other dentists throughout the years, I finally found Dr. Nihal & Dr. Hirant Bicacki at Midway Square Dental. Both doctors are very attentive and have a caring bedside manner. They take the time and patiently explain every procedure. Dr. Nihal is an artist when it comes to veneers! She is very meticulous about what she does and strives for perfection which, in my case, she achieved. She gave me a brand new smile which has completely changed my life! Dr. Hirant has the hands of an angel! He performed laser gum surgery on me as well as a wisdom tooth extraction. To my amazement, both were completely painless. He is very gentle and caring and really pays attention to your level of comfort, making sure you are completely pain free at all times. During my many visits, I was always made to feel welcome and comfortable. Their staff is very professional and polite. The office is clean, modern, and in a convenient location. Complaints here over billing and fees have me concerned. I will have to see if any of those materialize in my situation and will re-review if they do. I can review their services which I think are extraordinary! I've been to many dentists and none of them has been as pain free as this. I had two extractions done today in preparation for implants. Dr. Hirant's shots feel like mere mosquito bites! At one point during an extraction he put his tools down. I thought he was taking a break or something but picked up on the fact that the tooth may be out! I asked "Is it out?" He said yes. I laid my head back down for the second tooth and he said "both of them are out." I have no idea when the first one was pulled! No drugs, no gas either. Just shots. I've been through hell with other dentist but he pulled two teeth and did bone grafts with less discomfort than some can filling a cavity. My work is going to be expensive but I think you get what you pay for. As long as my out-of-pocket matches what they say it's going to be in the treatment plan I signed then I will have zero complaints and nothing but praise. I just wanted to take the opportunity to compliment the entire staff at Midway square Dental center. from the clean inviting waiting area. I am always greeted with a warm smile by the Receptionist who is courteous and professional not only to me, but to each incoming caller as the phone is answered. This same welcoming demeanor is also extended to me by Dr. Nihal and Dr.Hirant Bicakci and each of the Dental assistants who are super friendly and professional. As a matter of fact, I feel like I am part of your family. Additionally, each of the offices are neat and well organized, Your videos of different procedures are informative and sometimes lead to questions that never go unanswered. I am impressed by the thorough explanation of the procedures to include how long it will take. I never feel rushed and I know everyone values my time. I have not been to the dentist in years and I could not be happier about finding Midway Square Dental. From the moment I walked in the front desk staff did a great job making me fell comfortable and confident that I was going to have a great expierence. I met with one of the 3 Doctors on staff and he did a great job of explaining what I would need t o bring my smile up to date. I had a couple of cavities which immediatley brought on my anxiety. He let me know that they did have gas in the office that would help subside my fear. After having my exam I met with the front desk staff that helped explain what my insurance should cover and what I would need to pay at my visit. I have been attending this place for over 10 years. Let me tell you the service is excellent, the front desk receptionist are so sweet and friendly. All of them always greet me with a smile and make conversation. They always do a great job with my cleaning. Dr. Bicakci does an excellent job when performing his job, he just applied my new crown and made sure I wasn't in pain. He gets the job done and very well too. They make me fell comfortable every time I visit. I would hate to change dentist. I think that there would be no other like them elsewhere. I started my journey with Midway Square Dental Center May 2015. First visit I was told that I need to have my front tooth pulled, I immediately began crying the staff was so comforting. Even when speaking to me about cost and payment arrangements everything was handled so professionally that I had no interest in seeking another opinion or looking for something possibly cheaper. It was a truly traumatic experience (loosing the tooth) and a long process multiple set backs that delayed healing (no fault), but if it was for the professionalism and warmth of the staff this would have been a bad experience, it was truly great. I have been going to Midway Square Dental Center ever since the new owners took over and improved the centers services enormously. The center is very high tech and the new doctors are offering a long list of services that the previous owners did not offer. Drs. Hrant Bicakci and Nihal Bicakci are conversant in newest techniques and able to offer immediate relief to their patients. I was relived that I could get crowns, implant service in one location and now I am extremely happy with the results. I will recommend them to my colleagues without any reservations.I can honestly say that I have 100% confidence in them and been satisfied with their services 100%. Great work!!! read more

When I was having teeth sensitivity a coworker suggested I give Midway Square dental a try, that was 4 years ago and I've been coming here ever since. Dr. Bicakci is always kind and willing to answer any and all questions you may have. I've had my wisdom teeth removed, many fillings handled and I get my 6 month cleanings here. The receptionists are always kind as well and don't hassle you when they call to remind you of appointments. I've also never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to get in to see my doctor. I highly recommend Dr Bicakci for any dental needs, he rebuilt my teeth to the original, other Drs turn me away but he did the job with attention to detail and professional I am happy with the results so is my wife. I can smile now and I am proud of my teeth, but also I have included a good Dentist that will take care of me and my teeth. No regrets on the contrary I think I won the lottery with this Dentist and to top it off, you should see the entire staff are very cordial and professional and they have a very good smile, specially Karen. She started the treatment what I need, so every step is very good, safe and clean. Following months Dr .Hirant Bicakci continue to other steps I am very satisfied with his work. Let me just say for starters I have a fear of Dentists dating back to when I was a child. I started going to Midway Square Dental about 1 1/2 years ago and their service is awesome. I had to have a deep cleaning done and got throgh it like a champ. They make you feel so comfortable. I have also had a gap filled in, teeth zoom whitening and several cleaning. I've gone through serious medical treatment at the Midway Square Dental Center since January, including two root canals, two crowns, cleanings and general check-ups. Great experience... My first experience was with Dr. Roberts and she is the reason I came back to this location. There is new management now Dr. Nihal and Dr. Hirant and I am sold on getting all my future procedures done their and will strongly encourage friends and family to visit this location. This clinic is so unassuming, in a mall setting with a small dark entryway. But I can tell you that the staff are extremely pleasant, and most importantly Dr. Nihal really takes care of you, giving you every option. I have invisalign's being molded for me and Dr. Nihals office was $1000 cheaper than 2 other offices I visited. My insurance is not covering it, so cost is important for me. I'm very happy with the service so far and will provide an update in a few months. read more

Just got a phone call from the office to see how I was feeling after my appointment this morning. I had my deeper cleaning and fillings done on the right side. Jackie is great and I didn't feel anything after the novocaine was administered. Dr. Bicakci did a filling on the same areas so I saved myself a trip to the office (no offense guys but if I don't have to see you more than when I need, the better). Had an issue with another dentist and was referred to Midway Square Dental. They were extremely professional, friendly and most importantly solved my dental issue. I have not had any problems and was impressed how they explained my options for treatment and helped me make an informed decision. They are not the closest dentist to my house, but I definitely drive the extra distance to receive great service from Midway Square Dental. read more
