Not one Machanic would touch the XT5 Cadillac, said they wouldn't touch the Cadillac vehicles period. This went on for about one month. I was finnally refered to Chuck Walsh and given a number. I explained the same way I explained to the other Machanics, vehicle broke down and the symtoms. Car would start pudder and my dashboard lite up like a christmas tree with codes. The major code was an intake vacuum leak, misfire Cylinder #1 which is a pretty major code, because it could be a lot of differant reasons for that. Long story short Chuck took the job which I was a static about, but had my doubts because of what all the other Machanics said. Chuck basically had a lot of trouble with the job but he told me he would fix it. After tearing the motor down 2 times and having to replace the 2 valve heads and valve. Approximately maybe 45 days of struggling with my Vehicle Chuck and his Crew got my Vehicle fixed. The thing I was most impressed with is Chuck gave me an esitimate for the job, and never differed from the estimate he gave me from the beginning. Chuck and his team, and I say team because thats how they need to be reffered as. Got the job done! When he opened his own shop I was on board. I have been dealing with John over 10 years, and have very few complaints. Pros: Honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and reliable. When you take your car for an estimate John will let you know all your options. He is not the type of mechanic to add a bunch of unneeded work, and extras. Cons: It's just John. You may need to wait a few days to get an appointment, and because of his busy schedule, you may need to purchase parts for the work. I like buying my own parts. It allows me to see what they actually cost, and helps me to know there are no hidden fees. This may be a turn off to some customers. I would recommend getting into a habit of learning what labor, and parts cost. You'll save lots of money in the long run. John works on most makes, and models, but if you are a Volvo owner in the Attleboro area, making friend with John is a must.

I would go in for an oil change and Bill would go over my vehicle like it was his own first car. He would check everything. Make recomendations, tell me what needed attention right away and what I should keep an eye on. Never tried to upsell me, always knew what the best replacment part was and would tell me why. The service is fantastic, always reasonable and if there is something that he doesn't do, he will recommend the place to take it and get it done right. I just saw a 1 star review from someone who is mad because he doesn't do a specific service. Thats like complaining about an Italian Resturant cause they don't make Big Mac's.
