Wish we read reviews before visiting. It's super small and the selection is extremely limited. The employee working there really tried to help us but was pushing Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio (I don't mind that wine but it's ubiquitous and not something super special or unique, and not from California, which we'd said we were looking for), and he was pushing us to buy 5 bottles in order to get a 6th for free. We ended up buying The Prisoner red blend from Napa and Quivira Sauvignon Blanc from Healdsburg. Next time we'll look for a free-standing independent liquor store with a larger selection and better reviews. Sharing only to help the next person who's looking for special wines in the Morristown area.

They of course have an extensive selection of wine, but what I love the most is their selection of cold single beer cans and canned cocktails. They have some really fun and fancy brands that I've never seen before, and everything has the most beautiful packaging. I'm partial to a canned aperol spritz and negroni and this is the perfect pairing if you are headed to one of the many Italian / pizza eateries around town. This place is HORRIBLE. Here's my story. I walked in and tried to buy a 12 pack of beer. I gave the…read moreguy my ID and he thought it was fake. The guy started cursing me out telling me to get the f*** out of his store. He was screaming on the top of his lungs at me. He told me he was going to call the cops and I said ok do it please. He stole my ID and refused to give it back. Then he also refused to call the cops and kicked me out of the store. I had to call the cops on him to get my license back. 3 cop cars came and validated that my ID was real and took it back from him. I've never been treated like such garbage in my life. The guy is rude and ignorant. On top of all this, I missed kickoff for the Super Bowl because of this owner. He wears glasses, very dark skin, and is balding on his head. Beware if you see him. DO NOT GO HERE FAIR WARNING.

FTR ! This is a…read morewonderful liquor store -- it's clean and the shelves are well stocked and well organized. Selection naturally won't be as big as Bottle King up the road, but for a relatively small liquor store there are still plenty of options. The location on Speedwell Ave is convenient and it's not far from the train and downtown restaurants / shops of MP. Especially nice because there are some BYOB restaurants around. Service was incredibly friendly. The employee behind the counter was super helpful and even asked me how my day was going which does not always happen! When I told him I was new to the neighborhood he gave me a warm welcome. I'm sure I'll be back!
