After a medical appointment in midtown Wilmington, I drove through The Point at Barclay because I've never been, and there was a Kilwins. I think my car automatically pulled into the parking space in front of the shop, so I considered it kismet. I wasn't in the shop more than a minute when a friendly clerk offered me samples. I indulged then ordered the peanut butter pie ice cream in a waffle bowl and sat outside. What a lovely outdoor space! And what MARVELOUSLY DELICIOUS ice cream! I went back in and did some shopping in the super clean and very well organized store. It was such a delightful Halloween experience that made me so happy. Despite my doctor's warnings, I will go back, perhaps not as often as I want to, but certainly everytime I am driving by and for each and every holiday because the festive, vintage like displays gave me the best Halloween vibes.

Make sure to place your orders early sometimes they run out. The ham and turnkey is delicious! Sides come with the dinners also I particularly like the sweet potato casserole!

4/24/26: I usually love to shop at Whole Foods, but the deli counter has become a major bottleneck…read more There never seems to be enough staff to handle the line, and I've spent more time waiting for turkey slices than I did doing my entire grocery shop. The employees who are there are doing their best, but they clearly need more help. I'll keep coming back for the produce, but I'll be skipping the deli counter for now on until staffing improves and this gets addressed some day.
