We had a great experience with Midtown while planning our screened-in porch. Daniel, our sales representative, was excellent--he explained the product and the entire installation process very thoroughly and never made us feel rushed or pressured. The quality of the materials really stood out to us. The aluminum awnings are high quality, and the screens are extremely durable with a 10-year warranty on the screens themselves, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Everything is highly rated for wind and Tennessee storms, which was a big factor in our decision. We feel confident we chose a company that stands behind its product, and we're very excited to see the finished porch. Highly recommend Midtown and working with Daniel. read more

We contracted to replace three exterior doors. The sell pressure was enormous and we had to wait over 60 days for an install appointment. We demanded installation by English speakers installers. The day before scheduled installation we called to verify details only to learn no English speakers would be on site, but we would have to use Google Translate to communicate. We stupidly gave them a $10000 deposit for whigh we have nothing. According to other clients this is hardly an unusual experience. DO NOT use this disreputable company read more

Extremely disappointed in the customer service and communication. The price for the product is definitely not worth the headache. Our screen room had tears within the first month of completion and it took a month to have someone repair. At which time the installers showed up without new screen and before the repairs were complete they plugged their microwave into our front porch for lunch. They also installed our ceiling panels without the fan beam which we paid for. And the two people we were in communication with prior to figuring this out were both fired so no one was getting back to us. Overall would not recommend midtown. read more

"Buyer beware." They left us hanging regarding installation of a ceiling fan. We were led to believe that we would provide the fan and their crew would install it--but then when all was said and done, we had to hire another company to come out and put in the ceiling fan for another $1200. We expected the project "turn-key" but Midtown couldn't make it happen. read more

I was very disappointed in how this company conducted business. Pushy salesman that talk a good talk but didnt follow through. We originally decided on what we wanted, sat down on a Friday night for 2 hours with a sales manager who promised a discount if we booked quickly due to an opening. He then went on to tell us how amazing the company is. We told him everything we wanted and he event went back to make sure he included everything. We gave our deposit and he left. 4 days later (the same day we are supposed to sign our loan), they call saying that he accidently left off something we wanted however it was written plain as day on the original contract he gave us. They wanted to charge us an additional 2k on top of the overpriced total we were already going to pay. We cancelled because how can you send a sales manager who managed to leave off something pertitent we discussed many times and then not honor the original contract? Plus we were offered a discount at our door by one of the reps for being in healthcare and the sales manager went back on a portion of that as well. This company will say anything to get you hooked in then pop you with additionals or misshaps at the end. Beware. They already wanted tripple what everyone else was asking but we were going to use them due to quality. I am so glad i decided to trust my gut because they have poor reviews a year after work is done regarding communication on repairs and quality. Very disappointed. read more

Midtown Home Improvements uses Service Finance Company, LLC as their finance company. This company is also a total rip off. We've made several payments on this over priced deck and nothing has gone to the principal. Jason and his sales team are a total con job along with their finance company. Anyone looking to remodel their home, please stay away from MIDTOWN HOME IMPROVEMENTS. read more

The workers were very personable, but left trash in my driveway. They arrived in a truck and I thought it would be removed in the truck. No, and it's still there. On the weekend of June 1st they brought materials and left them on the grass which I paid $5200 to replace. In the back, I've had to move the materials myself due to them killing the grass. There are parts left on the side yard which makes it impossible to mow. When I saw the dimensions of the porch I was shocked at how small it was. Definitely paying a premium for the addition of 3ft to my porch. I wanted to put furniture in the area and it's too small. I'm extremely disappointed so far. read more

Siding job cost 20 grand. Falling off the house! Looks like a poor DIY job. Still 6 months and not fixed. DO NOT USE THEM!

Do you ever have those moments where you feel like you're being punk'd...or candid camera for the older folks? Our free consultation with this company was one of those moments. I half expected someone to tell me I had hidden cameras around my house because there's no way that this company could seriously expect me to pay $46,000 for a fence in my small backyard. In all fairness without much haggling, the gentleman did drop the price to $28,600. He assured me that their fence was the best quality in the state of Tennessee and that it had a lifetime warranty. For $28,600 I could replace my fence 4 times over based on the average quote I got from 2 other fence companies. I could replace the fence once a year for 7 years based on their initial quote. I built a backyard from scratch in Arizona with a pool, a hot tub a fire pit, mostly travertine and some fake grass and it was $90,000. Am I expected to believe a single fence costs me half of that?! Absolutely absurd that they think their quote was reasonable. Needless to say, we will not be using this company and given the chatter on our communities FB page, neither will any of my neighbors. read more

1st let me say this the gentleman that responded to my home was on time, but that is pretty much where the positive stops. You could tell from the very start that my home was not where he wanted to do business being that my home was not a million dollar house in Brentwood or Franklin. I totally can understand a business wanting to do work in those areas and I have no problem with that, but damn I am just as proud of my $350,000.00 home that I have busted my ass to pay off as someone that lives in those million dollar home. Just be a damn man about it and tell me that you and your company do not do smaller homes like mine instead of insulting myself and my wife by giving me an estimate of $140,000,00 to redo a 12'x14' Deck, yep that's right $140,000.00. Thankfully my wife, who is a whole lot more easy going than me, kept me under control because believe me I was ready to toss his happy ass off my property. To end my review I'd just like to say, be honest with people from the start, you and your company will get a whole lot more respect. Oh and just so you know, the house you came to yesterday was one of my rental properties, my home was less than a mile from there and that property is a 1.5 million dollar piece of property and home, which I was also needing some work done, but being that you turned your nose down at the rental property I will not be hiring you to do any work on my home. read more

I strongly do not recommend using this company. We have been waiting since June 2021 to have a new deck built and still do n have it or our deposit back because they cannot get the permit to build it evidently. No one has let us know anything on it since October 2021. They have our phone and e mail both. When I call I get a voice mail and no message left if they have called Mary Seals read more

I will never, ever recommend MidTown Home Improvements to anyone I know for roof replacement. After almost 10 months, we discovered the work we paid for was done poorly and resulted in water damage to the fascia and trim on our home. From the first 2+ hr, hard pressure meeting with the sales reps, to the claim before work was begun that they had underestimated the cost by $4K, to the lack of quality control on the project, and, now, after multiple calls for the past month to the office being promised that someone would call to schedule an appointment, we still have no resolution. read more
