It has really improved my son's confidence and coordination, and it's a relief to know he's able to defend himself if need be. The kids' classes are both krav maga and bjj (they have classes 4 evenings a week, with a gi two days, without a gi the other two), so they get grappling and striking experience. After his first class, my son said he enjoyed it and would like to come back. A year later, he has a 6 foot tall grappling dummy, a punching bag, mats for grappling in the living room, and he told me when he grows up he wants to own a krav/bjj gym. I was sold pn their after-school program. Instead of just sending my child to a day care this was a better option. They would pick my child up from school, make sure she did her homework and teach her taekwondo. The little one loves it. I love that my kid has learned to kick butt. In addition to after-school program options, they hold overnight camps, summer camps, and lock ins. These events allow me to have a little me time.
