This local bakery in Central El Nido is the epitome of cheap local food. They are known widely for their sugar donuts, but you are sure to spy pan de sal, buko pie, and keso/ cheese rolls in their display case as well. Their sugar donuts really are addicting and I loved their keso rolls as well. We got a bunch of bread and were surprised our total was only 60 pesos!
Yes, there are children outside begging, but unlike in other "prestigious" European countries *cough* France and Spain *cough*, the Filipino kids will at least ask and not attempt to straight up pick your pockets. read more
