This is the second time I have had to take one of my kids to this location due to being after hours…read moreat their regular pediatrician. The first time, I waited with my young children (one 2 year old and one under 1) for over 30 minutes for the results of a strep test after having waited an obscene amount of time just to see the doctor. When I had finally had enough and my kids were over it, I walked out of the room with them and requested a call for the results because I needed to leave (the winter ice storm had already begun at this time). The doctor told me "oh I didn't realize you were still here. I thought someone told you the test results". How did you not hear my two young children causing a commotion for 30 minutes? This latest visit I took my now 1 year old for a follow up appointment. We waited over 45 minutes to be seen after the nurse had checked us in and taken his vitals. He was borderline inconsolable to the point where I was packed up and ready to leave again when a nurse came in to check on us. I had exhausted all of the distractions and snacks in the diaper bag at this point. One nurse offered him Nutter Butter cookies. I know she was trying to help, but trying to offer a child a sugary snack that contains a common nut allergy is insane to me. Once the doctor finally arrived, some additional amount of time later, she noted that there must have been a mix up "with IT" because we were listed through the urgent care side (walk in), which was not the case. I made the appointment while I was there, in person three days prior. TLDR: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY WITH SMALL CHILDREN!!

Dr. Steves knows how to listen to the patient, and is compassionate, caring, and extremely knowledgeable! He has exceeded, where others have failed. His staff is exactly the same way! His practice should be the model for modern medicine! If I could give Dr. Steves and his practice a 10, I would. His practice is the way medicine should be, actually the way it used to be in the U.S. Your health is important not only to you, but your loved ones. This is why I put my care, and the care of my family in his hands!!!

The services and care my husband and I receive at The Town Doctor are outstanding. We have been…read morepatients for about 3 years now and won't go anywhere else. I initially heard about them from a fellow self employed musician who was having concerns about losing their affordable healthcare through Obamacare - since I, at 34, was considered "old" by most insurance companies' standards, just getting a basic plan, let alone any catastrophic care was so expensive, I'd have to refinance my house just to pay for my coverage not to mention my husband's. I didn't think there was any other way. With Dr. Steve's and his team, I don't have to worry about it anymore. If I have a problem, I just text or call and they take care of it. If I need to come for a visit, it's taken care of - I have had everything from my well visits with their OB to standard blood tests to full on allergy panels, minor procedures, support tracking down Lyme and Thyroid issues.... the works - my husband had two surgeries this past year and the after-care support from Dr. Steve's was unreal. They go above and beyond and you're treated like a person, not a paycheck. This is the way healthcare is supposed to be.
