Jay was flexible for my setup as I misread the delivery time, but we were able to sort it out and have the set up done a day early. I probably could have set it up myself, but I didn't want to have one extra thing to do for party setup. Jay let me know a time frame and then called me about an hour before his arrival. Jay was super great and friendly to work with and walked me through the usage of the system. The system was MORE than capable for what we needed, but was so great to have the option to increase the volume, or to only use one speaker as the day went on. Side note, Jay's favorite music is 80's freestyle, so have that ready when he tests the system! Jay came the next day around noon to disassemble the equipment and haul it out. I would definitely recommend Jay and Sound and Video Rentals as well as use them in the future.

For the month of August 2026, this business occupies the La Cocina stand slot at the Ferry farmer's…read moremarket. The stand is behind the building if you're facing the water. On their 1st appearance, there was a small crowd and I had a busy schedule so I didn't stop there. The following week, I walked up and studied their menu (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=EDZSeq0Se-VINb7kPco9KA) and picked up a couple of things. I started with the rosewater lemonade (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=ZQMir1P6UgaeL3XqdwgWTw) as I walked the market; I really enjoyed this, to the point that I only drank about 1/3rd; knowing my penchant for cold (as in ice cold) drinks, I saved the rest to bring home to pair with a cup of ice. I will get this again next week if it's available as the rosewater fragrance made this really good. The next day, I tried the hummus, garlic jalapeno (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). A friend gifted me a bag of pretzel sticks which I liberally dipped into the tub (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=g89oWFqGs0ZpgvTL3AAa7w), finishing almost half of it while watching a basketball game. I liked the smooth bean texture and the flavors were good yet not overly spicy. The following week, as promised, I brought home an order of the chicken kabob (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=ekbhwsXqihPYYl1cYF_zOw), chicken breast marinated in a blend of Afghan spices, char-broiled to perfection, served alongside pia bread and Afghan chopped salad. Having lunch already planned on that Saturday, I was tempted but declined on getting the kabob plate. Thank you to Ayesha who manned the table and told me that they should have the same menu for the rest of August here. Only two more Saturdays at the Ferry Building.
