I had never had an employee before, and was unprepared for the flood of forms, instructions, advice and threats from the California EDD. Most of it was incomprehensible, and I didn't have the time or energy to deal with it, so I piled it all neatly, and ignored it. After my wife passed away, I really did need to take care of the unpaid payroll taxes and forms that should have been filed quarterly, but weren't. My CPA recommended Marjory Armbrust as the right person to straighten it out. I emailed her with my employee's hours and wages for the year, and in a couple of days, it was done. When we met, Marjory explained the incomprehensible, and gave me a clear, organized set of instructions, envelopes and completed forms. She is delightful to be with, communicates clearly and easily, her charge to do the work was very reasonable, and she has the most well-behaved yellow lab I've ever met (a testament to her diligence and good character). Whenever I need a bookkeeper, I will absolutely go back to her.
