Of all the take away in Finglas this is my favorite. The Donor kebab is huge and delicious. The…read moreonly gripe I have is that sometimes when it's busy customers are left waiting a long time in the shop while they deal with deliveries. In my opinion the person that bothers to come to the shop should be served first, and those that are too lazy to get off their ass served second. Another thing that might help is one server looking after shop customers and another looking after deliveries instead of one person serving. Will use again best in Finglas go Rocco.

The location of this pub is right beside a gate into the phoenix park so is great for visitors to…read morethe park, locals and anyone that wants a great place for food and drink. The night I was there we had about 10 of us and while we had booked into the restaurant they were quite happy to seat us in the more relaxed informal bar. The food was really good, I shared 3 taco dishes for €20 with someone else and it was quite good. I had chicken wings, bravas patatas and parma ham. The bravas patatas were a bit boring, being simply deep fried diced potato with bland sauce but everything else was good. The service was great even though the pub was busy. The young server girl had everyone in stitches at the table as we filled up on beer, wine etc. The evening ended with some live music which was great even though there was no space for dancing. Only critism would be the tiny toilets with only 2 cubicles for such a busy place.

The Rising Phoenix - Spice bag and curry sauce with can of Coke for 8 Euro! A bargain and super tasty.

I had ordered the usual spicebags, 3 in 1's, chicken balls, house special curry etc. from here on…read morenumerous occasions and it was all great! I came here to try their all you can eat dinner menu and I left feeling unbelievably disappointed. The good things about the all you can it is.... -It's all you can eat. -Curry sauce is great. -3 beers for €11.50 The bad things! -Some truly AWFUL dishes. Thai curries in particular. Pretty gross. -Not very comfortable. -Bright lighting. -BAD music. -No one asked if everything was OK. -No one seems to want you to actually order as much as you want. I think we were asked once if we needed anything else. €17 all you can eat. You might think this is a great deal if you want to stuff your face. I guess it possibly is if you stick to certain dishes and gorge yourself. But in all honesty I would rather pay for just a good quality main and starter and really enjoy the experience. If you want to order a spicebag or a 3 in 1 however this place is a good un.

Can't praise this place enough - myself and 15 friends ate here tonight and we had a great time…read more The amount of food ordered was crazy (what do you expect in an all you can eat restaurant??) but the waitresses were efficient and quick, and our food was quick, piping hot and tasty. I've eaten here before a few times in smaller groups and found it to be the same - and even though it's all you can eat, it's freshly cooked to order so no lukewarm food in overhandled dishes! Price wise, it's ridiculously reasonable - for 16 of us including drinks it came to 360e - 25e each which, considering the amount we ate, was for next to nothing! A definite favourite of mine, I'll definitely be back for group nights!

This review will be short and sweet! This places gets a NOM NOMS award from me…read more... The most amazing bakery in Dublin. There is a queue sometimes to buy bread or cakes but worth the wait. The queue moves very fast anyway. A lot of staff behind the counter. Their bread is orgasmic. They also make up big rolls for take away. Also amazing and very reasonably priced and HUGE! With really nice homemade coleslaw! If you decide to sit in to eat I would most certainly recommend it. Their breakfasts are one of the best in Dublin. Anything from a Full Irish to poached eggs and yummy brown bread. AMAZEBALLS...... ^_^

Given this, I must say that Clarkes is one of the few places in dublin to offer a beautifully slutty fry at a very reasonable price! The staff are super friendly too. Went in for a breakfast for two and got the Clarkes special full Irish breakfast and we were not disappointed. The food was made fresh while we found a table (these are all cleaned regularly so the place looks great). We asked not to have black pudding and instead hash browns and this was done without a bother and the coffee we got with the food was made in a barrister type machine and was frothy and tasty! We were thirsty so I asked to get a bottle of water however the staff were so nice they whipped out a jug of cold water and just gave us two glasses for free insisting that I take it rather than pay! For a full breakfast and coffee it was a mere 7 euro!!! I will be returning to this place without a doubt!!
