Scammers!!! I purchased barstools back in January. They were…read morenice and sold but took longer than I was told to come in. When they finally came in and I put them together one was defective and did not sit flat on the ground. It was about 1/2 inch off and had a really bad rock. After a run around with customer service the nice lady that I dealt with at the store was able to help me and set up an exchange. I got a new stool put it together problem solved. I dropped off the defective chair, I was questioned by the Wearhouse about the issue, showed them in the shipping bay what was wrong and was told the chair should not be like that and it is broken. Fast forward to March. Decided I was going to get another matching stool. Went to pick it up, this time it was in a large box. I questioned the shipper about this as I had to assemble the 3 prior stools. Was told they come in boxes of 2 (my first 2 were in one box and the replacement I got was in the same type of box just as a single) and when one is removed they just assemble the other. Ok, home I went. Get home pull the stool out of the box and immediately something was off. The thing was filthy and had no tags on it. Figured no way they tried to give me the defective broken stool I had returned in January. Especially after getting the story I did from the shipper. Before I put the stools on my hardwood floors in January I put round felt pads on the feet for protection. When I took the broken one back I removed the felt pads leaving perfect glue rings on the feet. The exact same glue rings that were on the stool I just picked up. I pulled out the pictures of the stool from back in January that I took while getting the run around from customer services and it was the exact same stool with the exact same issue, same serial # and everything. As a customer I went to this crooked store to buy a brand new barstool, I was given a broken, defective, used, dirty barstool. They gave me a barstool that was returned for being defective by a previous customer. A barstool they acknowledged as defective and broken. The customer that returned that barstool originally was me! I am still dealing with the run around. Was told a new one will be sent to my house Thursday (March 26) then later told by someone else that it will not come on the Thursday but thats when it gets to the wearhouse. I asked what they are going to do for trying to rip me off and scam me and was told I can call customer services back after the exchange is done and they may do something for me. No commitment no nothing! The two people I spoke to at customer service just gave me the run around and made excuses for why they would knowingly try to give a customer something that was returned to them deffective and broken. Still no resolve, still no stool. In all my life I have never had a large retailer like this try to scam me. They legitimately tried to rip me off. Next stop will is the BBB and further as necessary. You cannot rip off customers and just expect putting them out further, waiting for yet another exchange is a fair resolve. This was a scam, this was fraud. Stay clear of this place.

I could hardly wait for the month of December to be over!…read moreCustomer service does not exist anymore! This was absolutely one of the worst experiences. We bought a new refrigerator at Dufresne on November 28 as the compressor on ours went. We could not get it until December 5th. Friday December 5th the fridge arrived. We waited several hours before plugging it in. 18 hours later the fridge was still warm. We waited the full 24 hours and the result was the same. We called Dufresne and were connected to the service dept which indicated a service Tech would be out to assess. (The fridge should have been exchanged at this point and Dufresne should have dealt with Whirlpool after the fact). Monday morning we made calls all over to make sure we had someone out quickly as now it was over a week without a refrigerator. Final the service Tech was at our home Tuesday December 9. He checked the fridge and indicated the compressor wasn't working. He called Whirlpool and they told the Tech to let us know someone from Whirlpool would contact us in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later got the call from a customer service rep at Whirlpool. She indicated that Whirlpool would send us a new refrigerator. The delivery date would be December 18. I asked if we could get it sooner as we needed something quickly as the 18 would be 3 weeks with out a refrigerator. She said no that was the best she could do. BIG MISTAKE. The refrigerator was not delivered on the 18th due to the weather. I had to beg the delivery people to get it earlier than Monday December 22 the rescheduled delivery date. We received the refrigerator on Saturday the 20th at 4:30. We were told not to plug in for at least 7 hours and we told the delivery people we would not plug in until the next morning as I had dinner guest over. We checked the outside of the refrigerator and there was no damage. We asked that they not remove tape as it was freezing cold and learning from our previous delivery it made a big mess on the refrigerator that took us over 1 1/2 hours to clean. Sunday December 21 I proceeded to remove the tape from the outside of the refrigerator, opened the door to find shattered glass all over the inside as well as the electrical panel hanging down. What could Whirlpool done better you ask. We should not have had to wait 11 days for a new refrigerator as I found out on December 19 that Dufresne had 3 units in their warehouse. So why did't. Dufresne do an exchange at this time rather than getting a tech out. If Whirlpool would have sent Dufresne a particular form, can't remember what it is called like Whirlpool usually does for a "dead on arrival" appliance I probably would have had a refrigerator by December 11th. My husband went to Dufresne this morning Monday December 22 and spoke with the service manager. Was told the earliest they can deliver a fridge to us is possibly December 27 (now 4 weeks with out a fridge). That said it all! Dufresne could not care less. Given the fact that it had been several weeks after purchase, I would have thought Dufresne would have gone above and beyond to get the fridge out to us asap not 5 days later. Obviously they don't care about their customers. I was told by an employee of Dufresne that they don't make any money on appliances. They just sell them so that when people buy furniture they can use the appliances as an up sell for the total home package. So it seems obvious that when you purchase an appliance at Dufresne and there is an issue, don't expect any customer service as they haven't made enough money on the sale! This whole situation should not have happened. I would say a refrigerator is a necessity. It's not like a damage piece of furniture that you can still possibly use. From the start, the exchange should have been done the first time around. Why should a customer deal with a manufacturer on a brand new item. Dufresne should have dealt with the manufacturer given this was a brand new appliance and dead on arrival. If I had to do this over again, which I will not, especially with Dufresne. That refrigerator would have been returned and I would have gone elsewhere.

This is my 3rd time ordering from the Brick. This last time will be my last as it is always the…read moresame issue. This last time I ordered, I ordered all of my kitchen appliances and living room furniture as me and my partner and I are building a new house. We were told that at the time of purchase, the items would be in stock. This was May 2, 2024. So we spent about 7K. Not to mention, my partner works on infills, meaning he will be purchasing new appliances every 6 months. You would think think they would treat us with respect and open communication. (You would hope this for any customer) In June, I received an email and phone call that my purchases were ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick up, I was told part of my order was not available and it would come in mid-July. Mid July came around, told mid-August, guess what, it's mid-August, and I'm being told mid-September. The only thing they offered me was to come down and exchange for another couch. We would have to bring down the sleeper ourselves, return it, and pick up a new set of furniture. Also, minus the first call saying we could come pick up the furniture, I did not receive any emails or phone calls updating me that my order was no longer available or that there were delays. I'm 9 months pregnant. My due date was yesterday. They think it's appropriate customer service to ask a 9 month pregnant person to load up a sleeper and return it to the brick and shop around for another couch and carry that home too. No discount offered, no free delivery or pickup offered, not even an apology or explanation why I was told over the phone and by email that my parts were all available for pick up. Please see the attached email to show proof that I was notified that my couch was available for pick up.
