i've had my Storage with Midgard since March and they have went up on my storage over 100% from $50 a month to $145 a month no warning no notification they just debited my account for this. I am on a fixed income, and I cannot afford this amount, or I would've gotten this amount for storage unit already they tried to get them on the phone. Cannot get no one on the phone. No one at Midgard. I went up there. There's no one there to talk to. They say I need to talk to someone in billing billing they won't call me back. this is extortion. It's kind of like the mafia effect. It's usually they get you in there and obviously you wouldn't be putting your things in storage and holding your storage and your items and storage hostage and I know they got you over there what can you do? They have month-to-month leases now I know why they don't have much to month leases because if they're like locked into a six month to a year lease, that means they cannot go up on your price for at least six months or whatever this is something needs to be done some of their needs against price gouging. I am an older lady single no nobody to help me now I have to go move all my things out of the storage. I've only been there three months and I'm having to move because they have me a storage unit without a lease contract with Midgard. Thank you. read more
