Several phone call messages left requesting return calls for setting appointments/request for Manager to call me were not returned timely, or not ever returned at all. This also happened several times. The first time resulted in a significant delay with my treatment getting started which threatened to impact the determination my Physician would need to make if surgery would be required. I was prepared to just take the free massage and run. When I got there, I found that wasn't the case at all. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming. I really felt at home. The free massage was wonderful and the consultation with Dr. Busch was great. I had had a "slipped disk" in the past and had somewhat recovered from it. I was told by my regular doctors that I would just have to live with pain in my lower back the rest of my life. Dr. Busch, however, told me that within a couple of months, he could probably have me feeling much better. I agreed to come back for the visits. True to his word, it was only a couple of months and I was pain-free. I went back to HealthSource a few months ago when I started having pain in my neck and going down into my arm. My doctor recommended I get some physical therapy so I called PTS. They took me right away and got me on a schedule of twice a week. I expected the usual treatment of being put on a bike and then given bands to stretch with--anything to keep the therapist from touching the patient for longer than 10 minutes. My experience here was anything but that. They employ fascial counterstrain and Dawn Florick began this treatment on me day one, and in fact her hands were never off me. I am happy to report that as we must say goodbye to Winchester, I am 80% better. Prior to coming here I had visited chiropractors, massage therapists and finally an ER in search of relief. The pain was unbearable. Dawn and her husband Scott are fun, professional, and the space is small but effective. You're not struggling for room because ten other people are trying to get treatment. Shannon at the front desk was lovely and efficient and did her best with my out of state insurance issues. I've had back issues for a long time, but it's gotten to the point I couldn't sleep. I had an MRI done and was told to go through physical therapy and pain medication by my insurance carrier (good thing there's no opioid issues in the US ). One visit to Dr Doepper's office and I was hooked. The entire staff is great, professional yet talks to you as a person and responds to your input. After two visits I felt an immediate improvement, almost a complete loss of pain. His physical therapist was amazing as well, she worked with me to show me stretch routines to continue the home therapy which round out the functions of the adjustments. Having gone to them now for a few months I've gone from twice a week visits to once every week and now once every three weeks. Unlike some dr's his goal is less visits and hope to get to once a month soon with only "maintenance" visits as needed. If your debating going to a chiropractor you owe it to yourself to give them a try, you won't be let down.
