Also, my children were not able to have their scheduled surgeries rescheduled because of her. She blamed me for not calling to cancel which I left a vm. she said that she didn't get anything as vm is hooked up to her cell phone. I also left the info with the call center and asked if they would call me back to reschedule. She claimed she never got that. We already paid balance of what insurance wouldn't cover for our son's work. Finally when I got in touch she answered and said I have to see what the dr wants to do about this case because you never called back to cancel which I told her at that time I did leave a voice-mail. She proceeded to tell me she needs to talk to Dr and thry were booked out until end of March but would get back to me before closing at 6pm. Never called, so today I call and call center says they are on lunch until 130pm. I call after that and once again call center option. I then Google the dr and saw he had another location in Lakewood and I called there. I explained to the girl there who picked up exactly what was going on. She was very nice and pulled my kids info up and then asked if I could hold so I did. she got back on the phone and said Elena said she would call me back Monday so I asked if there was anyway I could get a call from Dr when he's done with his patients and the girl said unfortunately no and Elena said they put the money back into the card that was billed. Baffled I said so does this mean my kids cannot be seen, they were sick and ped and cardiologist would sign paperwork they needed to get the surgery done. And she apologized and I knew she really felt sorry but had to reply yes ma'am that is correct. I said thank you so much and immediately called my credit card Co. spoke to rep who couldn't find it so she transferred me to dispute dept and lady there said same thing so I wasn't refunded by them as Elena told the other receptionist. Needless to say the cc is refunding me the money and will dispute with them.

Dr. Safari seems increasingly impatient and Dr. Guerrasio, while pleasant, rushes through appointments. We used to love this office, but the experience has changed over the years. Primarily, he did my crowns that I am ultimately going to do over, just a year later, which I am dreading going through this process yet again. My six front teeth are actually crooked (angled), which changed the shape of my face slightly, are too yellow, and affected my bite where one side of my back teeth no longer connect, which he denied many times. He even suggested that I perhaps am not remembering my bite correctly. The teeth are too large/long, especially where they now connect in the middle, which is what ultimately affected my bite, which has since been validated. Additionally, the last time I was there for my cleaning, he held a staff meeting - in the waiting room - that ran over into my appointment by close to 20 minutes, and he unapologetically sent myself and one other patient out in the cold (it was January). The front desk apologized for the inconvenience, however Dr. Schor did not and stated "you need to wait, we are in a meeting."

I searched for "Best Dentist" near me and found Bella Dental. Dr. Michael Alkon & Dr. Alex Shor immediately met with me and thankfully, the pain was soon gone.
