I came to Dr. Liz with multiple issues that I dealt with for years which my primary care doctor couldn't relieve or offer preventative care advice. Medications only made me feel worse and wasn't something I wanted to get in a habit of. I suffered from vertigo, panic attacks at the most random moments, plantar fasciitis, IBS, and often woke up with a stiff neck. I have been seeing Dr. Liz for a year now, once a week. I can confidently say that all of my issues are 100% gone! Plantar Fasciitis: I'm on my feet all day. Plantar fasciitis comes with the career, as many of my colleagues have dealt with it for years. The day I couldn't even touch the skin on my foot, it hurt so bad, I went to see Dr. Liz. Well I walked into work the next day pain free. By the end of the week I had no symptoms in my feet. I never knew you could adjust your foot!!! Mind blown, feet so happy. Vertigo and Panic Attacks: I suffered from vertigo and panic attacks for over a year due to an infection caused by my former dentist. I noticed after going to Dr. Liz for a few months that my vertigo wasn't as bad and I was having less panic attacks. After 1 year I have not had vertigo or even one panic attack. I thought these two conditions were my new normal, but it wasn't. Dr. Liz adjusted my spine so that my brain was getting the flow it needed to heal and become stronger. I'm me again! IBS & Digestive issues: I've spent my whole life with digestive issues. Now that I see Dr. Liz, I haven't had the excruciating pain that usually comes along with eating a small piece of a cookie or a scoop of ice cream...among other things. I used to fear food, due to the pain it caused me. Not anymore. Bring on Thanksgiving! Stiff Neck: For years I would wake up with a stiff neck that would last weeks. It seemed like once it felt better, it would go stiff again. After committing to Dr. Liz, I have not had one stiff neck in the year that I have seen her. Side note: I gave up running 14 years ago, because it hurt my back to run. A few weeks ago I woke up and ran a 10k. I didn't train, just ran. I truly believe that wouldn't have been possible if I wasn't going to Abundance Chiropractic. I feel so healthy, as if I can do anything physically or emotionally! Dr. Liz at Abundance truly is a miracle worker. She takes her time to understand your issues, gives you great advice, is gentle and effective, and helps you to function in your daily life. I can't say enough positive things. She has truly brought me back to life. I am ever so grateful for her passion and dedication to each patient. Side Side note: She's an expert in pediatric chiropractic care. I wish I started my care as a kid. If I had a child, I'd take them to Dr. Liz so they could develop appropriately without limits. Don't wait until there is an issue, prevention is key to ultimate wellness.

Dr. Liz Biehl DC, CACCP is amazing…read more During my first visit, I learned that I have lower lumbar compression fractures, and arthritic spinal degeneration in my neck. I would never have known this had I not made an appointment and I'm happy I did. While the treatments won't reverse any damage already done, it can prevent it from getting worse, as long as I take care of my overall health at the same time. I always feel so much better after a chiropractic session, and I'm happy to have better balance, better range of motion, better posture and so much more all because of Dr. Biehl's expert treatments, and I experience less pain in general. She also treats my 11yr old daughter, and often there's other children there for appointments too. Dr. Biehl specializes in pediatric chiropractic and I highly recommend her to all parents. She is gentle, very skilled and a genuinely friendly and nice person with a big heart. She loves what she does and it shows. Her office is more like a home than a doctor's office. It's beautiful, and occupies the lower floor of a house. Her office administrator Jen is wonderful too. Very friendly. I learned a lot about spinal alignment and how important it is for overall general health. As a result, I recommend everyone to see Dr. Liz. I always look forward to my appointments. I never liked going to any doctors office for anything, but I love going to Abundance Chiropractic.

Unfortunately, I had neglected my routine care in NJ for two months, and once I reach MA for a week's vacation, I found myself in trouble. I could barely walk and was experiencing random bouts of sharp pain that felt like an electric shock throughout the right side of my entire body. I phoned several chiropractors who were not willing to see any new patients, and then I phoned Dr. Jerry. I desperately needed help, and he agreed to see me. After my first visit with him, I immediately regained 80% of my walking ability that I had lost and the electric shock sensations were gone. He agreed to see me every day while I was in MA and restored me 100%. His kindness and expertise were such a blessing. Thank you Dr. Jerry. When I moved to MA from NJ I tried many places and thought I'd never find a person to compare to the massage therapist I had back home. On my first visit I was suffering with a migraine caused by the stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. As Marty worked on me, he explained how the muscles in one area affect the muscles in the area I was having trouble with. I appreciated that because I've asked other massage therapists in the past and it seemed as though they just didn't know. He has studied anatomy and can explain everything about body mechanics to you. When my lower back acts up, his massage has helped way more than when I was going to physical therapy. After about a year of getting massages here, I can walk in and say, "please fix me!" and he does. He truly wants to help people feel better. It's always a personal experience and his personality is genuine. Marty is the absolute BEST! I have recommended him to many people. If your considering trying him you absolutely should!

Back in Aug 2020 when I was 60 yrs old, while sitting at my desk, I bent over to pick up a…read morepaperclip off the floor and I felt my back pop. I thought that I just pulled a muscle. I went immediately to my chiropractor down the street to see if he could fix it. I ended up getting an MRI on my back. I had herniated the disc and had a couple of bulged discs. I went to a back surgeon that wanted to operate on my back, with no guarantees that it would be fixed. I knew I didn't want surgery or cortisone shots. I've heard too many bad things about them. I told my chiropractor what was going on and he thought that maybe he could help me, but it would take a very long time. In the meantime, Marty Turner owner of the Sacred Tree Massage and Reiki in Newburyport, who I had briefly met through some mutual friends, heard what happened and reached out to me. I knew nothing about massage therapy but was willing to try. Between my chiropractor and Marty Turner, I was pretty much back to normal in 6 months. I own a horse farm, so I'm very active mucking stalls, carrying 5-gallon jugs of water and moving 40 lbs. of hay daily. In the fall I'm raking up about 30 yrds of leaves. I also love to hike and ride in the side x side ATVs. I'm now 65 and still doing all of these things and more. I do go regularly once a month for a 1/2 hr massage to loosen up the muscles. I tried in the beginning to stop going monthly, but found out quickly that I needed to go. If Marty was able to fix my back with the help of the chiropractor, then I suggest that people give him a chance. He is very kind, honest, professional and makes you feel at ease. He will listen intently as to what's going on and will do his best to resolve the issues. Keep in mind, things don't always get fixed with just one visit. It could take several for the muscles to relax and release.
