However - this inspection was $140, and this shop wasn't able to help me fix several of the "fails", meaning I had to reach out to yet ANOTHER shop (the Ford dealership) and get it sorted. Found out the Ford dealership (and several other shops in the area) do these same state car inspections for under $100... $85 at Ford to be precise, sponsored by the Maryland State Police. So I'm blown away on how much I spent for a car inspection at a place that couldn't even fix the repairs I needed. With THAT huge of a price gouge, I feel a bit scammed.

Upon him inspecting them he noticed the front tires tread were getting very low and suggested to get new tires. Sure I could of saved around $35 if I ordered the tires online and delivered to them but Bobby and Greg were giving me good customer service, so I think it was worth the extra money. I ordered the two new tires through them which they had by the next day but my appointment wasn't until the following day (not because they didn't have any openings but because I was busy that day). I dropped my car off at 10am (Saturday) and was told it would be ready in an hour and a half. Sure enough at around 11:30am I got a call from Greg telling me my car was ready for pickup. I get all the paperwork done and Greg showed me how misaligned my front tires were, explaining why the tread on my tires got wore down the way they did. They were friendly, informative and a fast turn around for my tire replacement, balance and alignment. Overall Great Service.

I went in to get an oil change and mentioned that since they put new tires on my car about two weeks before I noticed a noise and asked if they could check. I get a call saying that my axle is warped and I need two new axles in the back. I don't know almost anything about cars but this sounded off. axles don't warp... I asked how long Bobby thought it would be drivable and he said maybe a week I should get it taken care off. Bobby wrote me up a quote for 1700 $ for my two back axles. when I got to the shop the mechanics and Bobby told me there was a lot of pull on my axles and that if there was a noise that's where it's coming from. I asked did you guys testt drive it and hear the noise and they told me no. when I got to my car i looked at the quote and thought let me just check to see how much these parts would be at auto zone. The axle is 170 at auto zone and they were trying to charge me 500 for one axle at Mr tire. i get trying to make a bonus but that is just wrong and sketchy. I then took my car to another shop and explained what i was told and unsurprisingly they called BS. they looked at my car and told me there was nothing wrong with my axle. when they test drove my car and let me know the sound was just the tires adjusting. I will never go back here after years of doing business here.

Had a screw in my tire when I stopped there. I couldn't find it and needed to head South for a…read moreweek. The fellas who worked there said that they removed my wheel and couldn't find the issue. So I drove on it and put air in every time I stopped for gas. When I finally got to my destination I was able to remove the wheel and find the screw. I plugged it myself and moved on. Maybe the techs there need better training or something. I don't think they really removed the wheel. I frequent Mr tire for everything to include oil changes when I don't have the time. I will continue to use the one by BJs but not the one in Lexington park. Sorry.

I said fine, I'll go online and make an appt for Friday. The guy said no worries he could set up the appt. So we set it for 800am on Friday morning. Thursday afternoon I called to confirm the appt. They never heard of me, and I didn't wait to find out if they even ordered the tires. I said forget it, I'm done.
