This is not your typical chain-business with no personalized connection to the community. I take my truck very seriously as I use it to travel much of Canada and the US for a hobby throughout the winter almost every weekend, and need it to be in good shape. This is an honest establishment that I know I can trust to do well with my vehicle. On any given day when we've gone in for service, the staff is friendly and services is timely considering whatever the line up may be. They've always been fair and honest with what we need to get complete versus what might be a good idea but not necessarily an immediate concern. We always seem to get the same group of staff and they're quick to remember what we need and get us in and out. The staff, management, and ownership of this Jiffy Lube understands and appreciates their local and returning customers in such a small community. If we've ever had a problem it was addressed it right away and the staff went above and beyond expectations to ease our concerns. Management and ownership specifically take time to hear your complaints and personally care about managing the problem. In our conversations we've felt genuinely heard and that the steps taken to give us good customer service go above and beyond expectations. They understand the necessity of, and follow through on giving good, fair service to get your repeat business as a local. We will never go anywhere else.

I went in today because I had two faulty tires on the rear of my vehicle, that had been replaced just six months ago by this Fountain Tire. Both tires not just one had the same fault of bulging on the inside. I went to a garage in the last few days and when they had it up on the hoist, they showed me the damage to both items that were put on Fountain Tire. As I know from being the wife of a husband with 35 years experience as an automotive technician, these tires in function were dangerous for the road. If I had been pulled over by the MTO, my vehicle would've been grounded and not able to run until both tires have been replaced and my car deemed safe to drive. I paid $700 to install two rear tires for a Kia Sonata. When I went back to the garage, they took my vehicle in for what they said was an inspection. This involved their technician and the manager. In standing back and overhearing, as they were trying to set up this appearance that they were going about this the right way, I heard the technician say that the tires weren't properly inflated and that there should have been an alignment. This was entire bullshit as my car had just been in to my dealership for regular maintenance with an oil change. This was how I found out about the dangerous tires that I was driving on. Part of the service with an oil change is to check tire pressure as my garage did and notified me of such. Fountain Tire said that my vehicle needed an alignment. This too was complete bullshit for rear tires and if my vehicle needed an alignment, there would've been evidence on my tires that they would've noted as they were taking them off. They are in the business as tire specialist to see all these imperfections to tires as they are expecting them. So, they were just looking for reasons to not honour their product. I guess they figured because I was a lone female coming in for service that they could pull this over on me. This company already lost service to our Dodge Ram 1500 series truck because of the over expense of their tires. We chose to go all the way Ajax as a past garage to get a reduction in price of as much as $400. When I came in for an estimate for tires, it was in fact this manager that I dealt with regarding their numbers. I will never be getting service at this garage again, and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will also be filing a complaint with the ministry ; MTO for them putting on faulty tires to cause me to be placed in a position of vulnerability for accident at any time.

When I returned, the staff acknowledged the mistake, which I appreciated. However, I was then told I would need to wait in line again to have it corrected. After already waiting about 2 hours the previous day, being asked to wait again because of an error on their end was very frustrating. While the team was polite, this situation could have been handled much better. When a mistake like this happens, customers shouldn't have to lose more time to fix it. I hope the management improves how they handle service errors in the future.

They didn't charge us much for the new tires and came back to us before we expected the job to be done, telling us that the wheels were already in the trunk of our SUV.
