I found it interesting that he quoted less because the work involved in the maintenance was easier to perform on my particular vehicle, although he did quote higher on the Alignment than most places I called, I though he was upfront and honest so I gave it a try...Glad I did! Nick was knowledgeable and asked about my reason for the Alignment, I left the car with him so that he could look it over when he had a chance (I did not make an appointment). He called back the next day, work all done, no surprises and his alignment included all the adjustments he made including the one to the rear wheel which they always ask for more. I'm always skeptical and pretty much don't trust anyone but I'm glad I met Nick and found someone that restores my faith in auto repair! I will go back and support him in his new business, hopefully he keeps it up as this will set him apart from the rest of the shops in Bolton.

I made a decision to go to Gerry's in haste and it affected me greatly. I've had tire mounting and balancing done in Barrie, London, Scarborough and Pickering, no one has charged me more than $100 but this morning I spent way too much. I made the mistake of not asking the lady how much would they charge and she didn't bother to give me an estimate either. Gerry's is definitely not pocket friendly. So, if you ever think, "I'll go to the mechanic down the street it'll be alright" - NO! it'll not be alright! I did consult with my friends and colleagues, the maximum anyone of then has paid for tire mounting and balancing in Vaughan is $140 I'm definitely never going back to Gerry's that's for sure, I don't enjoy being ripped off.

Hard No! After starting the engine on my six month old 2024 Dodge Hornet, every service warning light you can imagine was flashing at me and all the automatic features have been disabled. I took the car in to the dealer and was told it couldn't be looked at until the following week (I took it on a Wednesday morning). How is that even possible? The service department can't take 5 minutes to hoist a car up and run a scan to see if the car is even safe to drive until they actually can fix it? No apologies, no accommodations...NOTHING! The rep was actually pretty rude as well. Another customer lost, such a shame. I will never service my car there nor buy another vehicle from them again.

I went to work 15min after the service and 3 min in to my drive, I started smelling a burnt scent and started hearing grinding noise. I was advised that it was normal and sent me a video for the correct way to break in my break pads/rotors. I drove my car only short distances for the next few weeks and informed Uchanics that it is still making noises and the burning scent is still present. It turns out my calipers where seized. Due to the service tech rushing, he did not get to check the calipers. I got the rotors, break pads, calipers fixed at a different shop. This terrible experience happened in April. They've stopped responding to my emails and it is now September. I am still currently waiting for my reimbursement from Uchanics.
