We were down for 2 weeks, and when we picked up the truck we had the exact same problem, we had before we took it in. By that time we gave up on Al Scheppers, and took the truck to Clark Power Services in Wentzville MO, where they had us up and running in 2 hours flat. When i asked Al scheppers to stand behind their work they flatly refused, and didnt seem to care about the customer at all. It is well worth the drive to go to Wentzville, for some professional service.

The diagnosis took longer than expected and estimated, however the problem was they missed the diagnosis. I was told that the turbo was shot, and it may be deeper. They put a new turbo on and then started and engine. As it turns out, one of the valves had gone out in the head. When they ran the engine, more debris went thru the new turbo and ended up ruining it as well. As I was frustrated that they had missed the diagnosis as far as they had, I chose to settle up and tow my truck back to Iowa to a shop I trusted. On one of the calls, when discussing the second turbo Schepper's personnel stated "yeah, we missed that." I offered to pay all of the labor, but please don't charge me for a turbo they damaged by running the engine another 2 minutes. They wouldn't do anything about the turbo and while they said they knocked off some labor, I had to pay 9800$ to get my truck released. This is the most expensive turbo I have ever bought. All of that had to be redone when I had the head gone thru. Overall, I feel they missed a diagnosis by a mile, even admitted they missed it, and then charged full price for it. I would recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible. My experience was very costly and got me no where.
