Worst customer service ever! My card expired and I didn't know it. They canceled my service after they had called me to put my card on file, but gave somebody elses card information instead of mine. They called me while I was driving so I was unable to look up my information. When I started to question who was asking for my information, the guy became quite insistent that he could put my card on file. I became belligerent knowing full well I had my card on file and the card he have me was not mine. After the call I was able to stop and I found out my card had expired. When I realized my mistake, I paid the bill. But instead they refunded my payment and canceled my service. I had been a customer for years up until this point. read more

I live in a new subdivision and am brand new to North Carolina. The only "grip" I have is that they do not send out holiday notices. I would really appreciate if they would do that for the customers. read more

I have had service through you business for many years in the St. Paul's area. I was out of town for a 3 month period, Dec 24 thru Feb 25. I didn't do anything to change my service. My neighbor called and told me my trash can had been stolen. When I called your office to report it, I was told it was picked up due to lack of payment. I questioned this and was told that the card they had on file was not being accepted any more. I said I did stop that card after I lost it. Then I asked why I wasn't notified. I was told that they had made numerous attempts to reach me at all the phone numbers I had on file. According to mine and my wife's phones no attempt was made to contact us. There was nothing from them it call history on either phone. I was told that this was not their problem because they went by my house and we were not home so they left a business card to let us know. When I said I wanted to start service back, I was told that I would have to start a new service. That I now had to pay a higher charge since they had a rate increase which I said that was not a problem. I was then told there would be an additional charge for can rental and a delivery charge to bing the can to my house. I questioned the extra charges as I had been a customer for many years? I was told this was their policy and that was the on.y way I could get service back. When i questioned heir customer loyalty, I was told by as "manager" that this the policy now and that I didn't want to do it their way now I could just refuse because the really didn't need my business. I renewed the service at my wife's insistence. This was a very unfriendly and non-customer friendly interaction. J read more

I have had many trash companies, and they all spilled trash everywhere and left it, when MAD came around advertising, I gave them a chance and let me tell you that is the best thing that I could've done. Very professional and polite, even the drivers, when you have a question they will go out of their way to answer them, and they do it politely. Their trucks are newer and quiet and clean. I've been using this company for trash pick up for over 6 years. The workers are friendly and courteous. The trucks are always well maintained. I have never come home to find my trash can overturned or left in the middle of the driveway. They are cheaper than any other local trash companies but way better service. They switched to once a week. God forbid you do online shopping because of Covid. Like Amazon or buy furniture online. These people will not pick all your trash because it's not a normal Amount. THEY COME ONCE A WEEK. They suck. Go with someone else. Especially if you online shop. When we purchase our new house they will not be our trash company of choice. read more

When it came to finding a trash company when we returned from overseas, we went with MAD as they were the only company to offer two days a week pickup for a reasonable price. Fast forward a couple years and the company's owner solely decided to cut pickup to one day a week and raised the prices, when we called we were never able to get a return call and the receptionist was always rude and had a major attitude. The owner found himself "too busy or too important" to return calls to customers and would send nasty emails himself. They did offer an additional can at an additional rate monthly for extra trash to take care of the issue of them not fulfilling their contractual obligation of picking up twice a week as initially agreed upon. When we called again about trash not being picked up the Friday before a holiday, like they said was to happen, they said that they changed it to the following Friday after the holiday, leaving the customer with trash in their yard for two weeks. This is highly unacceptable, especially when we called them asking why the trash had not been picked up before the holiday when everyone had their cans out waiting, they claimed it was because they changed the pickup dates and emailed all of their customers ( we have all of the emails, they never notified us of any changes), the owner is completely rude and has rude staff. If I could have given less than one star I would have, this company is completely unprofessional and nasty to their customers. Did I mention that they unilaterally decided to cut our service, did not send a new bill AND came onto our property without permission and took the trash can. I say took because there was no emails, calls or knocks on the door( we were home!) to let us know they were taking the can. So apparently the owner is also ok with TRESPASSING!! They trespassed on our property, so we called the cops and have let them know what has happened. We also called the company to let them know that there can is gone (although I'm sure they know this and they are the ones who did it), and still have not received a call back! Not that I expect them to as the owner has never had the professionalism to do so. read more
