I found Weatherly s Central Electric; they determined it was just a diode and REPAIRED THE APPLIANCE FOR JUST $35. Weatherlys has been my dependable GO-TO place for ALL of my appliance repairs ever since. Over the past 5 yrs, Weatherlys has repaired my microwave/convection oven (3 times for different reasons), wall-oven, washer and dryer (twice for different reasons). I have NEVER been overcharged. Murray Appliance and Ward Elkins were contacted by GE, but with no action, we asked for Hill Appliance Repair and received quick and effective service. GE is refunding what we paid for the service with no issues.

After dealing with the insurance company for nearly 2 weeks I was just about running out of clean clothes. I contacted ARR on a Wednesday and was given an appointment the following Tuesday. I mentioned my clothing situation and asked that if something opened up I'd appreciate it. ARR said they could work me in the next day. They arrived ahead of schedule and did a thorough diagnosis of my washer. He explained the problem thoroughly. Instead of selling me some expensive fix (as I would not have known the difference) Matt told me that it likely wasn't worth fixing due to it's age but that fixing it would be expensive. He told me of an option that might work (a drip pan under the washer) that would save a lot of money. He didn't have to do that. Matt, and his assistant who's name I did not catch/remember, were very easy to work with, knowledgeable and very professional. If I have any further problems with my appliances, Appliance Rescue Repair will be the first company I will call.
