I thought the rooms and common areas were very clean. Overall, I thought it was a great value! The staff was polite and courteous.

**TLDR: Found bedbugs in our room and management refuses to approve a refund for a room we didn't…read moreeven get to sleep in!** We were in the process of driving states away with pets for a move, and decided to stop here since it was along I-80. Check-in was super easy, and the front desk employee was super helpful. After we had unpacked and started to settle into the room, my partner found a bed bug crawling on one of the beds. He immediately killed it and took photos (attached), and we were disgusted. I was in the middle of taking a shower when he discovered this, and when I needed to dry off, the towel I grabbed was filthy and just fully covered in short black hairs that were sticking straight out. We packed up all of our stuff in record timing, grabbed our pets immediately, and went down to the front desk to explain the situation. The front desk employee went up to the room, agreed what we found was a bed bug, and even took pictures of our pictures to send to the manager. The employee helped look for additional bed bugs, but I think we got lucky with just the one. The employee said it may have come from under the door from the conjoining room, so there wasn't a full infestation in our room just yet. The employee was super cool and helpful, and since I had booked through Capital One Travel, they directed me to initiate a refund through Capital One. We immediately left and had to search for/book another hotel, as well as inspect all of our stuff and pets for bed bugs. I called Capital One Travel a few days later, but since I didn't know the name of the manager or the front desk employee, they weren't able to initiate the refund until I got the names. Once we finished our drive to our destination, I emailed the property to attempt to figure out a refund, but got no response. I called the hotel asking for the names of the manager and the employee, and the person on the phone gave me the employee's name, but would not provide the manager's. They instead said the manager would "call me back to discuss the situation", which never happened (shocker). I managed to find her name on Google and called Capital One Travel back in an attempt to finally initiate a refund. The Capital One Travel representative then reached out to the property, but needed the manager's approval for the refund. They were making this representative jump through hoops and wait just for the manager to NOT approve the refund. Why? I have no idea since they are aware of the disgusting situation. So here I am, ghosted by the hotel's poor management, down $136, and attempting to get a refund on a hotel room with bedbugs that we didn't even sleep in. Just stay in Omaha, don't bother staying here unless you want a filthy room and possible bed bugs.

I've never been to prison personally, but when you close the windows and the drapes, their concrete walls inside and it seems like you're in prison they got no spoons or knives or forks. You have to pay for everything downstairs. Washer and dryers are like from the 80s... tried calling the front office nobody picks up the phone. It's like a mom and Pops place. That's run very terrible. Would never ever come back here again or any my place franchisees if there are any in this country.

You're right in downtown Omaha near Gene Leahy Mall and within walking distance of the Old Market, restaurants, bars, and plenty to do. We were there over a weekend and loved being able to walk out of the hotel and immediately feel like we were in the middle of everything! We also had dinner at Dynamite Woodfire Grill inside the hotel, which made the stay even better. The plates were not only delicious, but each dish was was plated uniquely and with purpose. I would absolutely stay at The Farnam again on another Omaha trip!

Bar service was friendly & the right amount of chatty (if you also like to sit at the bar for drinks, you know what I'm talking about) We had a Visionary Suite - 1114 - view of the park, the river, ball stadium. Spacious & gorgeous. Felt like an apartment. Definitely recommend if you have kids with you. Grabbed pastries for breakfast & enjoyed the island w stools for an easy in pjs family breakfast. Black out curtains on windows were excellently fitted. Room was very clean. Bed comfy. Towels were the bathsheet size, not tiny hotel towel size. I love nice hotels. I really love The Farnam. My husband had stayed here before & had joked about how he wasn't coming home bc he liked it so much. We stay in upscale hotels regularly, so I thought he was being silly. They'd won him over & they won me over too. This is the only place I want to stay in Omaha.

It has a pretty large closet as well. Got the king bed with kitchenette that had a microwave and fridge. The entire room was really clean. The shower was perfect after a long day, The bed was comfy too and the blanket that was under the top comforter was really comfortable felt like a soft shirt material. Didn't get a chance to make it to the breakfast. The hotel essentially shares a parking lot with 2 other hotels and Ameristar casino that's on the water edge. Would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again. It's also less than 10 mins from the Omaha zoo so perfect to do some activities in Omaha as well. If you want a relaxing stay this is one I highly recommend and at a great rate as well.

Reliable hot water, plenty of light, four pillows, a TV with some premium channels, a micro kitchen, and more. There were only small signs of wear. (I was in a Studio room.) + Staff. Every staff member I encountered was amazing. The only ones that didn't go above and beyond were not directly customer-facing and deep in a task. + Room service. Omg, they actually have room service every two days or so without asking. NEUTRALs: * Breakfast. Definitely met expectations, complete with constantly restocked hot dishes and one of the waffle makers. * Snack bar / mini convenience store. Great during the day, not so great at 3am when I do not want to interact with humans; there are no vending machines on the first floor. * Location. Right next to the Mid America Center (MAC).

You get nothing at all special for your loyalty here. I am Platinum Elite and the embarrassing low welcome "gift", bad parking, and zero room upgrade made for a lackluster welcome. Expect little from this hotel and your expectations will be met. I would recommend driving on to Omaha for real Marriott level customer service.
