I am only giving 3 stars as the employees were all very friendly and kind. The rooms which look like they have been remodeled are nice and clean but super small... also there are signs all over about not messing up the towels or you get charged .. I mean I understand how hotels don't like people taking towels but they don't even want you to remove your make up with them ... I am like are u F king kidding me??! That's just ridiculous !! Rate is ridiculous and I know it's because they are close to the Kickapoo casino.. Over priced because they know people will pay to stay close to the casino. It was clean for the most part. The coffee machine had a lot of hard water stains. I tried my best to clean it but it was tough because of the position of the plug. If I wasn't addicted to my morning cup of Joe, I would not have used that machine. That's why it's best for hotels to supply two bottles of filtered water since guest are not responsible enough to travel with their own filtered water like me :) ... Eagle Pass doesn't offer affordable hotels but you'll be alright in this one. PROS: they offer a noon check out which is rare but nice! CONS: you will be woken up by housekeeping WHICH IT TO BE EXPECTED ... no big deal... BUT you will hear them yelling to each other "they haven't checked out" ‍ more than once... unnecessary. read more

READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!! My experience in a nutshell We checked in. Asked for additional towels and after two hours they were never brought. Walked down to the lobby and asked a different manager, male night manager told me to bring the used ones first and he will hand me the new ones. First of all, I AM NOT HOUSEKEEPING! I am a GUEST. Second of all, I asked for 2 additional towels because I have thicker hair and I use one for my body and one for my hair, I shouldn't have to explain that. He provided me the towels and I thought the night was over. Wrong. The AC started malfunctioning in which the fan wasn't providing any airflow. The woman in room 130 was yelling, beating on the wall, slamming her door over and over as well as slamming the drawers from midnight off and on all the way to 4am, arguing with her boyfriend. I could hear him pleading with her to please keep it down, she continues yelling as I cannot sleep. I report this to the front desk as well as the AC issue and the manager could care less never offered any type of resolution for the AC and hung up so quickly to address the noisy complaint. 30 minutes later the girl next door is yelling even louder being so obnoxious saying she hopes everyone hears her. Laying in bed with zero airflow, rock hard bed, screaming loudly! I didn't get but 3 hours of sleep. When I awoke the next morning, I could hear her puking next door, I guess she was drunk. Moral of the story is: Management doesn't care if you have any type of issue. You will be more comfortable sleeping in your car. If you feel this hotel is your only option you are wasting your money. Please pay more somewhere else or keep driving, this isn't worth it. The management is heinous and they don't care at all. If I don't receive any type of accommodation or compensation for this heinous, atrocious experience I intend of continuing to push this to corporate and I will keep pushing as high as this takes me, call me a Karen I don't care. BEWARE!!! DIRTY! DIRTY! DIRTY! I can't believe these people can not clean a room, hairs all over the carpet and restroom, the bedsheets were NASTY! I had to run over to Walmart to buy bedsheets because they wouldn't clean my room. I think I only saw the cleaning lady on Monday I checked out on Friday and never saw the cleaning lady again, I asked the front desk if they were going to clean my room they stated that they did not know when they would get to it. Towels were nasty, the bathroom was not clean and the room smelled like a wet dog. Forget about the breakfast was not good at all, the health department should shut this place down. This is the worst hotel ever! Checked in on August 5. Was given a handicap accessible room, I inspected the bed, pulled down the sheets and noticed stains and hair on the mattress protector. We were given a second room which is right next-door to the first room that was assigned. I went ahead and inspected the bed and noticed that it was the same situation. We brought it to the front desk clerk's attention again for the second time and we were given a third room. Again for the third time it was the same situation with the mattress protector stained and it had hair. We took pictures of the stains on the sheets mattress protector and showed the front desk clerk. My suggestion would be to inspect the bedding in ANY hotel prior to settling in the room. If there is a rating of zero I would give it a zero. read more

Where do I start? We visited Eagle Pass on a busy weekend at the casino. Most hotels were full. We arrived at night to check in. Other hotel options were nearly impossible. 1. Our original rooms on the 3rd floor had no eletricity. 2. Room 233 - Found pubic hair in my bed -Linens stained with white crusty stuff - Bed skirt grossly stained and filthy -Hair in bathroom on bathroom floor and in tub. - Room 133 - hair and BLOOD on the bed. The only thing that earned this hotel a star is Efrain at the front desk - and the hardworking maintenance man. When we arrived for check-in, the entire third floor, where we had assigned rooms, had no electricity. The maintenance guy, bless his heart, was literally running from room to room, checking if the rooms had electricity. We observed how he and Efrain worked together trying to make check in as smooth as possible for the arriving guests and those left without electricity in their rooms. However, the phone kept ringing off the hook and kept interrupting the check in process. The person on the other end, kept asking about the electrical problem. It was one of the managers. It made me wonder why THEY didn't just come and help resolve the problem rather than continuosly interrupting and distracting him from registering guests. UPDATE: I spoke with both the Manager, CLAUDIA ANDALON and General Manger, CLAUDIA OYERVIDES and things only got worse. I showed the General Manager the pictures and her response was that she couldn't do anything about it! Unbelievable, she's the GENERAL MANAGER and can't remedy the problem???? She further stated we had already received a discount. Actually, when we checked in, the price came up wrong - Efrain made an adjustment to HONOR the online price. Instead of addressing and resolving the issues presented to her, she kept arguing the point. "I can't override the system", "I can't do anything" "We have good reviews on the internet" - REALLY??? As a General Manager those are your responses??? What a joke!!! This place must be family run because there is no way this pair of UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT and CLUELESS "managers" would continue to be employed after a week in a corporate run hotel. It makes me question their hospitality background. They can't keep the hotel clean and most definitely do not know the first thing about customer service. The other party traveling with us were moved twice due to the electricy outage and then again because their bed had hair AND BLOOD!!!! THe managers REFUSED to give the other party her receipt!!!! I travel often and NEVER have I encountered such incompetent people in the travel industry. I requested the name and contact info of her supervisor which she and the other Claudia both refuse to give me. A nice couple standing behind me in line - Mr. and Mrs. Kiolbassa chimed in and informed me that they had had similar issues the last time they stayed. They informed me that they spoke to the owner Andres, who quickly addressed and remedied their problems. They spoke very well of him. Mr. Andres, if you are reading this, I ask that you please contact me to personally discuss. The price of this place is not bad but we will not be staying here again. The room felt like a sauna. No matter what temperature or fan speed we set the unit it was no cooling and with Texas heat you need to stay cool. The breakfast was also a joke only cereal and pastry was provided. The bed was also very lumpy hard to get a good nights rest. read more

Fidel Sandoval I had the worst hotel experience at MICROTEL by Wyndham on April 7-8, 2018. This is the worst customer service from this Wyndham chain and the Manager couldn't care less. I returned from the casino around 6:30am to rest, I was about to gave the lady receptionist my reservation number and without any hesitation the lady simply said "Is Cancelled", and continued mentioning, All reservations are cancelled at 3 am. for all Guest that have not shown up personally with the hotel receptionist, and there is Nothing the Hotel can do about it......but do not worry MICROTEL won't invoice Expedia.... and I can offer you a room at our rate..... WHAT ???. I could not believe what she was telling me. This is the most stupid answer I have ever heard from a hotel receptionist personnel. Now, I found myself and my wife astonished, tired and exhausted (wanting to rest), mute and defenseless before the receptionist negligence and poor, very poor and bad customer service attitude. I felt let down by an incompetent, .... UH AHA SURE, this was an insult to my intelligence. Expedia had already charged me and MICROTEL want my money again..... I am not stupid. So, I loudly demanded to be accommodated, didn't wanted do so but the receptionist gave me no other options. Finally, I was accommodated in a tiny small room (124), of course, this was not a Guest room. Oh, and by the way, the receptionist was never able to demonstrate me the 3 AM NO SHOWN Microtel CANCELLATION POLICY. (I consider this a Complete FRAUD for hotel customers) I will never come back again to this hotel. read more

By far the worst experience I have encountered at any hotel. Front desk clerk was very rude and condescending. He has no customer service skills what so ever. Once checked in I was given a very dirty room with unsanitary pillow covers. I was accommodated with a clean room once speaking to a supervisor. Will never stay again and I strongly do not recommend to anyone. read more

Our room was clean, pretty decent. There was a little bug in the restroom but it was dead. It was not a roach. Bed is comfortable, pillows are too fluffy and their Wi-Fi sucks! I kept asking them for the password they and the front desk people kept giving me the wrong password. The breakfast is your typical free-breakfast: overly sweet muffins, 3 types of cereal, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cocktail, fruit, toast. watered down juices. Overall it is ok and clean. There is a really good restaurant next to it. read more
