I over plucked my eyebrows when I was younger and have spent several years wanting to give microblading a try but I was too nervous. I'm so glad I went with Keisha! She is a true artist and worked absolute magic. She was so warm, kind and walked me through the whole process of what to expect. She listened to exactly what I wanted and lended her expertise to helping create the perfect brow shape for me. My brows look incredible and natural. I now feel confident going make up free and love that I don't need to fill in my brows. I initially only did the microblading and at my 6 week follow up last year I decided to add shading as well and am so happy I did. The process for me included an initial microblading appointment and a 6 week follow-up for additional blading and shading. Now I just need to go in once a year for a touch up. When I first met Suzie, I explained that I wanted my eyebrows to look natural and not too fake. She suggested choosing the style, color, and shape, and I loved the result. Since then, Suzie has been the only one who does my eyebrows with touch-ups, and I don't trust anyone else because I believe Suzie understands what I like. Two months ago, I went in for an eyebrow touch-up after about two years and decided to get a lip tattoo. I can't deny that I was scared at first, but Suzie explained everything and eased my concerns, so I finally went ahead. The results were amazing because Suzie outlined the beautiful shape of my lips and gave me a natural pink color that changes depending on the weather. When it's sunny, it looks like a nice natural pink; in the shade, it's muted. I'm genuinely amazed and don't regret getting my lips done--I should have done it much sooner. I love it because now I save time and don't have to apply lipstick or touch it up constantly, and I no longer need to do my eyebrows either. She let me ask 100 questions, before during and after. On my touch up she gave the same attention if not more. I can really tell she loves what she does, she's an artist and I will be going back for touch ups as needed to make sure to preserve her beautiful work. But about these brows! Before Shay: I have dark hair, but sparse, unshaped to my liking and never felt comfortable going make-up-less without doing my brows. Consultation: Shay drew the most beautiful shape. We talked about thickness, color and what to expect. Process: no to very low pain, why was I even worried? Lol but I was and I shouldn't have. She updated me throughout the process and showed me the progress. Day one: OMG they're dark what did I do! I was expecting deep pore extractions, because I expressed my face was clogged and only got my forehead. The massage given during the facial was horrible. It hurt so bad and I was so sore the next day. Now my lashes. Ugh!!! My first time getting lashes and it was horrible. I was excited. I showed Brandi two pictures. I was hybrid, but not crazy, because I don't wear crazy or a lot of makeup. She gave me a light volume and D curl. My lashes were so curled and dark! They were definitely synthetic lashes, because you can tell how cheap they looked. I could tell during my appointment that there was too much glue being used, because the corner ends of my eyes she kept trying to separate. What do you know I get home and the corners are all stuck together and clumpy like a strip lash. My righ eye was red and it burned. Throughout the night my eye kept burning more and more and it was watering. In the middle of the morning I text her, because I wanted my lashes removed, but she was busy and said she can squeeze me in later around 4pm or I can give it a couple of days. I was so over them and didn't even want her touching my lashes. I had to cut them off and get the rest removed somewhere else. The other place saw how bad and stuck they were too. I told her about them and she said she would give me a complementary facial... ugh, I wanted no services done by her at all. She should had given me my money back. I had my conch previously pierced twice, and it was always bubbling up and she was really good at explaining what probably went wrong and ensured she avoided the previous scar tissue as much as possible. The piercings themselves were totally bearable, the conch was probably the most uncomfortable because of the previous scar tissue but overall, she was really fast and efficient.
