SCAMMERS I received…read morean invitation from the Lexington Hearing and Speech Center located in Queens. The letter was very impressive and repeatedly mentioned completely free testing. I took a day off to go there, but upon arrival, they asked for my health insurance in order to proceed with the testing. I wouldn't have gone if I had known this beforehand. This is a scam--they lure you in with a "Special Invitation" and then require your insurance for the testing. Do not trust them and waist your time! I wasted my time on their nonsense, which was very disturbing. The lady I spoke with on the phone was extremely impudent and had no shame in conducting this scam. She lacked basic human values and continued to present their deceitful practices as truthful.

Surprisingly, everything went so smoothly and I couldn't ask for two better ladies to have shared this journey with. Enisa the Patient Coordinator is very understanding, professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. I value her great communication and efficiency with appointments and EEG scheduling. It was always a pleasure to see her infectious smile everyday I entered the office. Smailee the MERT Tech is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and she has the patience of a saint. Even when my son wasn't on his best behavior she was able to complete the sessions. I loved how she provided toys and entertainment for his comfort and she calmly worked at his pace. She arrived to work jolly, on time and she was unbothered by the mess of popcorn and snacks he threw on the floor. When he cried she was so tender and provided much consolation and it meant so much. My son has made great progress since getting MERT therapy. He's much more present and affectionate. His temper, eye contact and sleep has improved tremendously. I recommend this place to anyone because they're great and the girls here will definitely make you feel at home.

My original appointment was with a doctor at the Mott Women's Healthcare clinic, but apparently she doesn't work on the weekends and the system allowed me to book her anyway. Fortunately for me, Joy Cheng was there to see me. She was fantastic. My apprehension with Asian doctors/gynecologists is the fear of being judged. As soon as I met Joy, I knew I had nothing to worry about. She made me feel comfortable, or as comfortable as one could be in a gynecologist's office. Her bedside manners were impeccable. She told me exactly what she was going to do before doing it. She was gentle and not once, did I feel awkward. She also speaks perfect English so no need to worry about miscommunication. I highly recommend her as a gyno/midwife.
