I've been a customer of Nutrition 4 Less for about 10 years, which is why this experience was so…read moredisappointing. In all my years shopping here, I've never dealt with such poor communication and complete disregard for a customer's time. I live about 2 hours away from the store, so I contacted an employee a full week before my trip and explained exactly what I wanted. He assured me that the items would be in stock and ready for pickup on Friday. Based on that promise, I made the 2-hour drive. When I arrived, I was told the items weren't in stock after all and that I would have to wait about 4 hours for them to arrive. This made no sense considering I had given a week's notice and was specifically told everything would be ready. To make matters worse, it didn't take 4 hours--it took about 8 hours before I finally received a message saying the items had arrived. Because I live so far away, I asked if I could come back the following morning to pick them up. The employee agreed and confirmed that would be fine. So the next day, I drove another 2 hours to the store, only to be told that the items had been sold to someone else. What really bothers me is that nobody thought it was important to send a simple text message or phone call letting me know they had sold the items. They knew I was coming. We had already agreed on a pickup time. Yet they still sold the products and allowed me to make a 2-hour drive for absolutely nothing. At that point, it became clear that the employee either couldn't keep his word or simply didn't care enough to follow through on what he promised. Either way, it's a terrible reflection of the business. Selling products that were supposedly being held for a customer and then failing to communicate that they were gone shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect. Wasting a customer's time is one thing, but wasting 8 hours of driving because an employee couldn't do something as basic as send a text message is unacceptable. After 10 years of supporting this business, this experience made me feel like my loyalty meant absolutely nothing.

These bite-sized puffed snacks has a bold cheddar taste and satisfying texture and made without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Since I am on a health journey, and I still crave some junk food, at least this version of cheese puffs is healthier. This is why I like Sprouts because you can find similar items that are organic or healthier with less preservatives. This location is easy to navigate and my next go to is their bulk section. I come here to grab just the amount of nuts, grains, or chocolates to help with portion control. I can even make my own trail mix to enjoy at work or on long road trips. Only downside is that I've seen adults and kids using their hands to grab samples and that's a big No No for me. That compromises the cleanliness of those bulk items. I hope they figure out something where samples aren't easily taken. I still walk by their bakery area and just smell the freshly baked goods, hoping to satisfy my cravings without the added calories. Maybe there's more variety on certain days when it's restock day. When we walked in the person working wasn't wearing a mask but then put one on and asked us to wear them. There is not currently an indoor mask mandate for LA county (people are also no longer required to wear them in airports or on planes) so we didn't like that we had to wear a mask. We browsed the shop and there was some cool items but they didn't carry Ceylon cinnamon.
