Don't yield to the scare tactics & showy videos of laser gum treatment!…read more I got a second opinion. No gum disease but a healthy gum was found !! Sincerely on Sept.3,2024

You've probably Googled the "pinhole" procedure and are considering paying thousands of dollars…read moreout-of-pocket because you hope for a less invasive gum graft with a quicker recovery. This is not that. My surgery with Dr. Nemeth was the most traumatic medical experience of my life. The gums were sliced away from the bone, packed with donor tissue, stretched back over the teeth and sewn with stitches in a figure eight pattern around my lower teeth and lip, with knots poking out of my lip. Now, over six months later, I have permanent nerve damage (loss of sensation in my lower lip and chin), and excessive scar tissue in my mouth where my gums were stretched and sewn. I also now need a procedure called a vestibuloplasty to create space between the lower lip and gums but my new periodontist and neurologist say that doing this would further compromise the damaged nerves. To add insult to injury, my gum recession has returned to where it was before and all of this did nothing to stabilize the teeth. I will likely need a traditional gum graft using tissue from the roof of my mouth - the very procedure I was hoping to avoid by going to Dr. Nemeth for the pinhole procedure. Since Dr. Nemeth asked me for this review less than 24 hours after my surgery (and after every subsequent follow-up appointment), I assume he wants his patients' experiences to be known. I hope my story helps at least one prospective patient re-evaluate their options.

I won't go back to this place again. The place is very commercialized and makes me feel they care…read moreabout making money more than their patients. I was recommended by a friend to come here. They charged me 200 dollars 'deposit' (I will explain this later) in the first minute I entered into the office. I only need a cleaning of my teeth but then the dentist advertised me to buy their very expensive automatic toothbrush ($150 dollars) which is not covered by my dental insurance. When they gave me the evaluation of the teeth cleaning fee, I was surprised to find that I need to pay more than 1000 dollars for a deep cleaning even my insurance company told me they would mostly cover 90%. So I checked the fee evaluation form very careful and found that they include many things not covered by my insurance such as oral cancer diagnosis which I never requested. So I told them no way I am going to accept a deep cleaning like this. Therefore, immediately they gave me another fee evaluation form which is more reasonable but still include some antibiotics that not covered by my insurance. I had deep cleaning before in another place but I didn't get charged by antibiotics that is more than 100 dollars. Anyway, I didn't want to waste time to find another dental place at michigan so I accepted what they gave to me. Two days before my appointment I found it's difficult for me to make that appoitment, so I called them and asked for a rescheduling. The cashier was telling me that if I reschedule then I would lose my $200 deposit. In order to keep my 200 dollars, I postponed other things aside and made this appointment happen. The teeth cleaning process was very painful. As I said I had deep cleaning before but it was not as painful as like this. After I finished deep cleaning, I wanted my deposit back. Instead the cashier immediately responded the deposit is not back. Why? Because they keep my deposit as a copay. I am very uncomfortable with the way they charged me before I receive any service and misleadingly told me that it's a 'deposit'. I just learned my lesson that what they called deposit is not a deposit but that they keep your money before you ask any service, before they do any work for you. Based on this unpleasant experience here, I won't come back again.

Nice staff but had no idea how to uae holistic methods for my medical needs. Very cookie cutter…read morepractice

Two cone-beam X-rays -7 months apart- confirmed the suspicion that my ill-advised root canal (recommended by another dentist) was infected. Purpose of today's appointment was extraction of that root canal tooth and bone graft in preparation for ceramic implant placement. Every person in Dr. Anderson's office was professional and kind. They worked together to ensure my comfort and well-being. My extraction was completed in the most efficient and supportive manner, using best practices to ensure good healing ( my own platelets and ozone). Dr Anderson's team is remarkable as evidenced by the manner they cooperated to take care of me. I was grateful that the doctor narrated each step of the process, which helped me to feel calm. I chose oral sedation and - after the procedure was finished and my husband briefed on after care - Janet walked me out to the car. Dr. Anderson called at end of the day to check up on me. No one likes the idea of losing a tooth, but this experience could not have been better.

I didn't tell them how scared I was having never gone through anything like this- but from jump I just immediately trusted them and knew I was in good hands. Take all my money- kidding - but whatever she charged me was fine based on how relieved I was and how much I trusted them to get things right. She came highly recommended from my dentist and you just have to trust. But I highly recommend this whole practice. Not enough stars.
