They think it is so cool that they have a kid sized door, a play hour, kid toys, etc. The office is always clean and welcoming. The office definitely caters to kids on every level. The staff is always awesome - the hygienist are so good with the kids and engage them while working quickly but thoroughly. They help make it relaxing and fun. Dr. Kim is so nice and always talks to the kids and asks them questions to make them comfortable and engage them, as well. They do allow for parents to come back and sit near their kids if they need to, this has helped my boys a lot! I have always felt comfortable and confident in the care they receive here and do not feel pressured to do anything that is above or beyond what they need. They always have a full prize bucket for the kids to take from when they leave, too - always a hit! I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist for their children - such a great place to get them familiar and comfortable at the dentist.

I am beyond thrilled with Dr. Kim. He is truly so caring of his patients. He talks my daughters through what he is doing and constantly is checking in with them, " You doing ok? * the whole time he is working on them. SO KIND. . He is so proactive with his conversations and approach to dentistry which is very comforting to my husband and I. We had a dental emergency a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday. I called the emergency number and within 5 minutes Dr. Kim returned my call. He is patient, kind. caring AND thoughtful. I highly recommend his office to all parents!

I'll start with the positives. The staff were generally kind to my children during treatment,…read moreencouraged bravery, and the office is clearly designed to be kid-friendly. I also don't believe my children were ever in immediate medical danger. They also once got me my kids records within a few hours in a pinch. If I could give zero stars I'd still give them the one. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. This practice repeatedly misinformed us about treatment severity, changed our payment agreement three times after promising it wouldn't change, and ultimately denied care unless I paid over $3,000 out of pocket - due to an error in their own insurance system. Our insurance worked before and has worked everywhere else since. When I asked them why they were just bringing up the issue, they said they tried to call. When I pointed out I had spoken to them over the phone earlier that day, they replied that I had spoken to a new employee and she didn't know to tell me. After having some fillings done, my 11-year-old developed a bruise on his jaw near where they injected the anesthetic. I don't know if they pinched to try to make it more comfortable for him or what, but it took a week or more to heal. I don't feel they intended any harm, but with everything else it seems worth mentioning. They also disclosed my children's appointment dates, times, and treatment details without consent. When I raised HIPAA concerns, I was told it "didn't count" because only the dentist shared the information, and that this was "the law." When I asked where that law existed, they admitted they had never actually seen it and were repeating something they'd been told or read. Before mentioning my concern, I asked if there was anyone listed on their HIPAA release or some court order I was unaware of. There was not. After denying treatment to my daughter, they confirmed my son's appointment three separate times. His father drove two hours to bring him, only to be told the appointment had been canceled. To top it off, they later sent me a very confusing letter informing me that I was looking for another dentist - while also offering to continue treatment if I scheduled an appointment within the month. I'm glad others have had great experiences. Mine was defined by billing chaos, poor communication, misinformation, and a concerning lack of understanding around patient privacy. I would strongly recommend proceeding with caution.

While the dentist and hygienist were kind, they also were not patient and kept trying to continue their work without trying to stop or try different techniques. I intervened to give him a break and asked the dentist if the remainder of the exam was necessary, she said yes I need to finish my exam to look at his back teeth. I was very disappointed in that answer because the purpose of a first visit is to make it a calm and pleasant experience. That was not their priority, which was disappointing especially considering it's a pediatric dentist. I blame myself for not just getting up and leaving. We will not be returning. I would recommend this dental office if your child does well at the dentist... But if they are timid or scared, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere.
