We made this very clear to Patrick Ilers Real Estate. We are now at the two month mark in our agreement with Patrick Ilers Real Estate and we felt it is necessary to move representation to another brokerage that can more fully support our needs to sell quickly. Our reasons to terminate Patrick Ilers Real Estate services... Broker Tour - Our home has not been included in any of the broker tours. Open House - Our home has not had any Buyer Open Houses scheduled. Print Marketing - No print marketing has occurred in two months. ...ie. flyers, local publications, etc. Online Marketing - Other than listing our property on the MLS and the standard links to Zillow and similar companies ...ie no QR code listing links, no social media postings, no listings on paid sites such as Craigslist, etc. 3-D Photography Tours - In todays market, many buyers are coming from out-of-state and rely on 3-D Photography Tours. We have noted that many properties in our price range and many unique properties, such as ours, have 3-D Photography Tours. This marketing never occurred. Reports - I have bought and sold nine homes in the last twenty-five years. I have always had reporting with the brokers I have worked with. To this point, we still don't have full details on what brokers have showed our home, and their comments. There have been approximately twelve. or maybe more, showings. We don't know as there has been no reporting. Buyers This is really our biggest concern... With the exception of of a virtual showing Patrick Ilers Real Estate has not shown our property since it has been listed. Although other brokers have shown the property, we would expected many more showings, actually any showings, from his office. The offer that was brought to us from Patrick Ilers Real Estate from a virtual buyer was, twice, unable to fully provide proof of funding, tying up our home for weeks, and breached his earnest money due. The buyer was, clearly, not a qualified buyer. Patrick Ilers Real Estate represented both sides of the transaction. We have requested "termination of services" more than twenty four hours ago. Patrick Ilers Real Estate first offered to terminate if we paid him a substantial fee for services rendered, but has since refused to terminate, effectively holding our home hostage to their "services". We have had many positive experiences in real estate in the last twenty-five years, this experience has been devastating. We have reported Patrick Ivers Real Estate to the Oregon Real Estate Board.
