Stock always unpacked...still boxed and crowding the aisles. Manager is surly. Usually in a corner in the front of store...Any request for help met with eyerolls and a big sigh. Always acts so disgusted when he has to respond to a customer. And the music is horrible. read more

I have had a lot of trouble with this specific store personally unfortunately. Including incorrect pick up from an online order, cashiers not applying sales to my in store purchases and denying there are any items on sale when there is :/ I have had to contact Michaels customer service for help a few times. The selection at this store is fine but the service is not. I bought a "brand new" Cricut, got home and opened the box to find out it was a return and everything from the box was missing except the machine. Couldn't get a hold of anyone at the store. I went there for party balloons they had exactly what I was looking for although they don't have a big variety of balloons but they are a arts and crafts store so makes sense. They recently started blowing up balloons so the employees weren't entirely too sure how the helium tank worked but they were able to figure it out and I left satisfied. They were great and determined to work the tank and fill the balloons I was purchasing. read more

We went there to pick up one canvas and they had it wrong in the first place and then took em 20 minutes just to get one!

I went in there yesterday to pick something up and the lady behind the desk in the back where they frame pictures was extremely rude when I asked her if I could take a picture of what they made for me. Exact words were 'I don't have time for this!' Then when I went to the front desk to buy a gift card, when I went to check out, the lady behind the counter informed me that they only take cash or debit cards to buy other store gift cards. why wasn't this clearly marked where the gift card display was? I will never go in to that store again. read more

The good news: the store is clean, well lit, well organized, decent craft/art supplies selection even though it is not the largest Michae's in Western PA. The not so good news: the customer service is awful. No smiles. No eye contact when answering a product question. Associates seemed bothered when stocking was interrupted for a product location question. Even the cashier couldn't find a creative way to put a smile on her face. Suggestion: Face paints. Aisle 3. The final analysis: If I haven't brought a bad attitude with me, I surely don't want to leave with yours. read more

I absolutely love this store! They have a fantastic selection of all my crafting needs (which includes jewelry, crocheting, floral arrangements etc.) I always am asking the staff questions and they are always there to help me find what I'm looking for. I've never met anyone of the staff who are not nice and helpful. They all seem to know their stuff as well which is a great help. All in all I'd say this store is one you should definitely check out! They always have great coupons too! read more

Horrible customer service, dropped an item off to be framed. Not only did it take longer than what they told me, my item was uneven and had a crease while it was in the frame. Both the associates could not give me an answer why it turned out the way it did. I then requested a refund and I was told to come back tomorrow because no one in the store knew how to do it. Now I have to drive another hour round trip again to resolve this. read more

Years ago, I took up cross stitching as a hobby. I always found what I needed at Micheal's (regardless of location). Large selection of patterns to chose from, as well as kits. They used to have two full aisles dedicated to cross stitching. Now? about half an aisle. Very few leaflets. I go there now just for DMC floss, but just discovered Walmart carries it again, and it's 7¢ cheaper (not to mention WM is closer to me than Michaels) I've heard many Michaels stores are now getting rid of DMC completely. :( I do go there for the framing sales, which is usually 60% off. Other than that, I have no use for the store. They have nothing for anyone interested in needlework. I have to do most of my shopping online now. This business as a whole has really gone downhill IMO. Maybe you have better luck if you're a knitter or scrapbooker. The staff, usually hard to find someone to assist you. read more
