I saw decorations for Thanksgiving and Christmas, mirrors, candles, some small furniture, fabric and yarn, flowers, party decorations, art supplies, model vehicles, paints, etcetera. Prices were reasonable. I bought only a couple of small items, because I did not really need anything. I personally would visit this store mostly for holiday decorations, although I do think that it would be good for people who have artsy hobbies. The cashier rang up my purchase promptly and accurately, and she politely thanked me.

But now I can also vouch for Amy's when things go wrong! I purchased a fairly high-end Janome machine from Amy's, and the day after I got it home, an important component broke. I was devastated, but when I returned to the store I was immediately assured that the machine would be repaired or replaced. Within a week, I received a call to come pick up a new machine. Amy said that she felt that I, as a consumer, might worry that something else was wrong if they did a repair, so they worked with Janome to simply replace the machine. I might have expected to be treated as an inconvenience, or been sent home with an iffy product. Instead, I was even offered a gift card to compensate me for the inconvenience of having to wait! That is what is meant by exceeding customer expectations. Imagine what my experience would have been if I had purchased my machine on line! Nothing can compare to working with a good dealer. And Amy's is, simply, the best.

They also were unfamiliar with specifics on other lines of fabric in the store- aka "Do you have any other fabrics with this bolt? Is this fat quarter available on a bolt so I can buy a yard or two?" There is a wide selection of fabric panels. They have a huge classroom space and several models of sewing machines and long arm quilt machines setup. It was a nice store but there are a lot better options out there price and selection wise both in person and online.

This place was a big disappointment. It has the potential to be an amazing little jewel, but it's just not. The knitting needle display was also a mess. Oh, and her large dog is confined to a tiny space behind her register. That's just plain cruel. Talk to your dog, and take your dog on a long walk!

The regular prices were moderately high, but the store was having a sale of 40% off, which made the prices reasonable. An employee promptly and politely served me.
