Dan is the Man! What…read morea pro, and what tremendous customer service. I had no idea what to expect when I decided to sell my lot of 65 ungraded T206 cards. I'd rediscovered them in a forgotten binder, hiding in a closet for some 35 years. My son and I had collected them cheaply in the late 80s, purely as a hobby, not an investment. I had no idea where to go for an honest appraisal. Fortunately, I found Just Collect with a quick google search. Their submission form was simple. I loaded cell-phone pics of my cards, front and back, in four groups based on my amateur's description of their condition. As advertised, Dan emailed me back asap with an up-front assessment. To give me idea of their process, he gave me a firm offer for each of my 8 (lesser) HOF players. His detail evaluation included their condition, their retail worth, and his offer (based on Just Collect's percentage scale). The offer, of course, was contingent on assessing the cards in hand -- including all of the commons, which he definitely was interested in. Dan's email encouraged me to call with questions. And I did, several times (!) . Each time, Dan picked up immediately, explaining the shipping process etc. Full disclosure: We didn't complete the deal, through no fault of Dan's. I actually ordered the shipping materials. But in the short time waiting for them to arrive, I was referred to a local dealer (someone I'd never heard of). He made a strong offer for all of my T206s, plus random other vintage cards. So I took the easy (lazy and impatient) way --- and sold locally rather than ship and wait. When I emailed Dan to explain my decision, he responded promptly and graciously. Class all the way. As it turns out, I've unearthed a couple of old World Series tix from another closet. I emailed photos to Dan to see if Just Collect handles ticket stubs. Sure enough, I got a detailed offer back asap. As I said before, Dan's the man!

This saves everyone time especially the people waiting behind you. I have been there while other people where there and the wait was a little long but they do make it a point to make sure you get good service. most of this is do to the people not having a part number as mentioned above. The place is bigger than it looks. there is a basement with a ton of bodies and tires and wheels. I like going there to browse amd always ask questions when I need help on a project. they never tried to sell me things I did not need! in fact he tried to talk me out of a couple of items and saved me money. I needed parts for my hpi jump shot and he had them in stock. they were back ordered everywhere on line and his prices are very competitive. I then bought the M41 traxxas boat. Two different style tracks to choose from makes this a lot of fun. They offer kids multiple track dates and times, where kids compete in time races on both tracks. Kids are able to buy parts and assemble their own cars making each one custom, some faster, more handling and cool colors. Me and the boy also have a remote controlled truck by traxxas, purchased from Lou. Lou helped me pick out something simple and a lot of fun. We also beat this thing up and being simple makes it easy for myself, a novice, to fix. I purchased my parts from here and usually bring the truck to ask any questions. Everyone in the shop has knowledge about all of their products. This place is full of cool stuff, that no matter your age, there is something in there to put a smile on the face. All good. But don't try to squeeze me at the register and tell me someone put the wrong price on the box. If you'd have honored the price right or wrong I'd be sitting here working on the model. I wanted to come here and probably buy some stuff. I really did. But this place apparently likes to open when they feel like it. I live about 90 minutes away from this place and on two different occasions, I was to be in the area as it was. Twice I made it a point to come here during advertised business hours and TWICE this place was closed during those same advertised business hours. Thankfully I was already in the area doing other things anyway, but what terrible business practices and what a waste of time to try to come here. Unsure of the reasons they were closed during their business hours either time - whether it was because the owner didn't want to work, couldn't get out of bed, decided to be lazy, has absolutely zero business acumen, or whatnot. Who knows. On their website, social media, Google, and on their own answering machine when I've called, they claim the same hours/days - yet, they fail to be open during those select times. I'm fair and if something were to have come up - twice - where they couldn't open or didn't want to for whatever reason, I'm understanding. But to not even update their own answering machine or anywhere else is unacceptable. Perhaps I'm unlucky and both times I was there, they decided they didn't want to open on those days and during their advertised business hours - or perhaps they're just poor at running a business. I've never had this issue with any other business before (whether they're similar or not), so the fault has to lie with the owner. It's a shame too, because from what I've seen it looks like a nice place. The owner seems like a nice guy. It was a place I was looking forward to trying out. But they aren't remotely the only place around that sells the same type of stuff and I'm very lucky in my travels/searches to find other similar stores that know how to run a business. And those places (or any other like it that I find) will continue to get my business, whereas this place will not. Ever. I know I'm in the minority as they seem to have a lot of fans - good for those people. I don't wish ill will despite their poor business practices.
