Great service when I go. Most of the reviews are ancient. Seems like old ones would come down.

Just left and the WORST customer service i have had in a long long time. my second visit (first was to drop off) I pulled in under the drive through sign WITH ARROWS(!!!!) to pick up. The girl inside looked at me and went in another room, came out looked at me again, went around the corner turned around to the carosel and started spinning it. Not once did she acknowledge I was sitting out side. Waiting. I finally got out of the car and went in where she promptly told me I was in the drive through line improperly. I was supposed to come in the opposite way. There is a SIGN on the Starbucks side that says DRIVE THRU WITH ARROWS. I don't know why I thought I should enter that way. I told her that I had only been once before to drop off and that where I dropped off - no one told me that I was not dropping off properly. I am flabbergasted that this is how they treat their customers. I will not be back. read more

-1 Star Review. Location: Sparkleberry & Clemson Road I brought in a pair of Linen pants September 9, 2019 11:57 am to this Dry Cleaners the lady who was working at the time her name was Pam. I asked for my Linen pants to be dry cleaned. FYI any type of Linen clothing can't be treated like normal cotton material it is a very delicate fabric to dry clean. When I received the item back the 1st time it had creases and a yellow looking stain near the knee area of the pant that wasn't there before must of been caused while dry cleaned It was there when i picked up the pant. I asked if they could take it back to get the creases removed and some stains taken out. It was a Thursday when I took the item back and she said to come back Monday to pick it up. I came back Monday to pick them up and it still hadn't arrived yet. I told them to call and let me know once they find the item. I kept calling and stopping by I must of went by there 4 times to check and see if my pants were there for about 5 days. They still couldn't locate my pants. I was worried they might of lost it. A week later they found it they sent it to the wrong place. At this point it is very frustrating because I had to call and drive to the location multiple times looking for my pants. None of the employees communicated to their owner that this issue had happened. As of Today October 2, 2019 I finally go and pick up the pants it still had stains and the yellow stain on the knee that was there from when they dry cleaned it, the Linen fabric was stiff, had lines from how they ironed it still and the Linen Pant was PILLING. (Pilling) A pill, colloquially known as a bobble, fuzzball, or lint ball is a small ball of fibers that forms on a piece of cloth. 'Pill' is also a verb for the formation of such balls. Pilling is a surface defect of textiles caused by wear, and is generally considered an undesirable trait.) My brand new pair of pants turned into a 10 year old pant that looked like they were worn out. Reckon these pants are a week old brand new Never Washed and Never Dry Cleaned ever. The service too was disappointing. If a customer isn't happy with an item or service shouldn't it be their duty to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied when they leave? I hope they can help me resolve this issue. At least get money for the pant to replace them. October 3, 2019 Called yesterday and the worker said she would get the owner to call me back to resolve this issue. No phone call yesterday or today from the owner. I decided to call a few moments ago at the location of Sparkleberry and Clemson Road the lady was very rude and raising her voice at me. She mentioned my review and said "You should of gave us more time before writing these reviews." I told her that I gave them a month to figure out my pant issue. They even misplaced them and couldn't find them. I didn't get them back till a month later. Terrible customer service. read more

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SO SICK AND TIRED of businesses over charging customers in an effort to overcome their shortcomings and this business was no different! On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, I gave the Michael's employee 3 shirt dresses that I purchased from Amazon and asked to have them starched and I was given a ticket to retrieve them on Friday, August 23, 2024. On Friday I pulled up to the Michael's window and handed the employee my debit card and receipt and waited to get my belongings. A short time thereafter I was handed a receipt for $54.33! I immediately asked if there was some mistake and was told that the charges were implemented by Michael's and that she was unable to change or do anything otherwise. I was extremely angry with myself for assuming that the charges would be acceptable and that is why I handed her my debit card before asking the price. The cost of the 3 shirt dresses was less than the charges that I paid! If I had known that before hand I would have left the garments and let out a sarcastic response coupled with laughter and drove away. If anyone is considering utilizing Michael's Dry Cleaning on Hardscrabble Road in the future, please, consider my experience a cautionary tale and look elsewhere. read more

Rough experience. Came in with some suits and shirts, asked about rates. No issue there, they are competitive. Issues came when going through the shirts, had a few new ones. Apparently that's not allowed, and when I was putting pins in a pin bowl, she took the extra effort to talk down to me. The representative at the front felt that "dismissive derogatory" was the best way to approach me, so as much as I enjoy spending $120 at a dry cleaners, I'll head to another. read more

This place had some bad reviews so I was skeptical. I dropped off several items to be cleaned and the lady at the counter was so kind and helpful. They have a quick turn around- next day service. It was much appreciated as we needed our items pretty quick. I picked them up and was very pleased with the service and my clothes looked fantastic. This is conveniently located near Lake Carolina so I will be a regular. read more

One of the associates, Tammy, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I stood at the counter waiting to be helped for several minutes. Another associate was helping a customer but addressed me when she could, and told Tammy that I was next. Tammy glared at me then proceeded to walk to the drive-thru window to help someone else. It wasn't until I told her that I was ready that she turned around and reluctantly helped me. She mumbled something smart under her breath as well. Worst customer service EVER! Lady behind the desk told me that if I was going to bring shirts to them on Wednesday's (the discount day for shirts), that I needed to unbutton them. I told her no, that I would not be unbuttoning them, that is why I bring them to the dry cleaner in the first place. She literally threw my husbands shirts at me. Maybe not to be malicious, probably because she was too lazy to step outside and hand them to me. Won't be returning to this dry cleaner, it was terrible! read more

The employees behind the desk aren't unstressed in customer service. They are busy watching tv and can barely be bothered to help and answer questions. They want to argue with you over a comforter they think is down and insist on charging an additional fee instead of reading the tags. They don't guarantee stain removal but never say that or have policies listed anywhere. They offer to clean an item a second time that still is stained and then don't follow through. I will not be wasting my money with this company ever again and would encourage everyone else to find a different cleaners. read more

They included someone else's dry cleaning with mine and called to ask me to return it- I did 3 days later (it's out of my way) the rude clerk, snatched it out of my hand and told me that "it sure took you long enough" I was furious and asked to speak to the owner- I reminded him of the previous encounter I had with one of his reps and he begged me for a second chance- he had no apology- just thanked me for bringing the suit back- I did and will never return. read more

NO STARS!!! Horrible customer service. I was told they would email or call me to let me know when my item was ready to be picked-up. I waited almost a week, finally called and got the "oh yeah, it's ready". When I went to pick it up, the fat lady at the front was beyond rude. I tried handing her my receipt but she wouldn't take, yet she had to ask me 3 times to either confirm my name and/or what item was picking up. Isn't that the point of the receipt, so they can match it to the one that's on my item? Needless to say, that was my first and last time using Michael's cleaners. read more
