We had some unforeseen issues that were out of our control... some residual paperwork that needed clearing up with the county- which had additional limits to contact county employees due to covid-19. Mike was amazing to work with. We have met him and other staff members several times through Summit's sponsorship of local charity events. Mike was the third Mortgage Broker we started working with and we ultimately went with him because he was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable on a non-standard refinance and ended up getting us the best product. Michael/Summit was the preferred lender @ our new construction house so we got big incentives for using them, which made me a little nervous since normally I like to pick everything myself based on reviews, but I think overall they were very fair, honest, nice, & quick to thoroughly answer any questions I had, even with me being paranoid about possibly being taken advantage of at the beginning. I'm happy with the interest rate we got & satisfied with his answers to my questions/explanations on all the various fees etc included in the loan (first time buyer). I've worked with Michael for about 5 years now. I was introduced to him because a big bank denied my loan late into my escrow process. I was self employed and apart of multiple companies with complicated tax returns. We kept getting stuck in underwriting and ultimately rejected. Seriously someone I would recommend to new buyers.
