First time patient and I was impressed and pleased with the service. Dr.Taylor is very informative and knowledgeable. My first adjustment and I'm already pain free. It took at least 24 hours after my adjustment to start feeling 100% better but I had no idea It was going to eliminate all my back pain. I've been suffering for almost 4 months with sharp lower back pain and discomfort unable to sleep or sit without severe pain. Had LITERALLY the rudest phone call ever!!! I was calling in to see if I can schedule an appointment little did I know they only do walk ins? So I proceeded to ask another question because I obviously did not know much and the lady on the phone proceeded to get more and more rude then she decided to try to hang up by cutting me off WHILE I was talking so at that point I had just about had it and I called her out and being so rude for NO REASON to me. I asked her for her name but of course she wouldn't give it to me because she probably knows her wrong doing. WONDERFUL!!! I have gone to many chiropractors in my life and they always try to upsell me, get me to prepay for visits that I never end up using, and charge me for things I end up not really needing (x-rays, etc.). I went in this morning with extreme lower neck/upper back pain. I never go to the dr or chiropractor unless it's really bad- I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Taylor was honest, explained what was happening and why, and let me know before he adjusted while warning that it would hurt (obviously-I was already in so much pain). I do not feel instant relief, I wasn't expecting to, but I can tell its getting better instead of worse. He said he wanted to see me next week for a follow-up but didn't try to tell me I need to be coming once a week to get adjusted or anything like that. I only give 3 stars because I didn't go there for a treatment. I was there to buy some bio-freeze. It's something I use on sore mussels at the end of a long day at work. Lugging 100 lb. bags around all day makes a person kind of sore. Bio-freeze really works. And it's cheeper than a treatment or massage. read more

My husband just started a new job and has been having some sore back issues when he gets home. I looked on Yelp for a chiro in the area and saw the wonderful reviews for MTC. I booked him an appointment, and they were able to get him in the next day. The appointment itself was super quick, and my husband said that he has felt an improvement since going in. So far he's had 2 appointments, and with the adjustments, and icing his back after work, per instructions, he's feeling much better. Still a little bit sore but nothing like it was. Both my daughter and I went in together. She had never been adjusted before. She said she felt like she was body slammed but it felt awesome. For myself I have been adjusted before multiple times. Went in to see Dr. Taylor on a Thur afternoon for some issues I was having what felt like between my shoulder blades. Dr. Taylor adjusted me from the shoulder blades up with only 2 min of talking to me...Within hours I began having lower back pain, which I did not have prior to seeing him. I returned to his office and he argued with me telling me he adjusted my lower back, which he did not. He than proceeded to do another entire adjustment from the neck down. Within an hour I could not move my neck at all. By Sunday morning I was in so much pain I visited the ER. After an MRI it was discovered that the adjustment sprained my neck. I do not doubt at one time he was the best, but now he does not give his patients the time and attention they need and just rushes them which for me, resulted in injury. read more

I was in a head on collision car accident 1998 when I first was referred to him. I was really skeptical about going to a chiropractor since I heard horror stories in the past. He fixed my lower back pain right away. I think I went for about 3-4 months. Then in 2000 my gas pedal got stuck in my 67 mustang (289 engine) and had several injuries to my body. My back was in bad shape but Dr Taylor took me in and for several months treated me. I on occasion have to call him for a adjustment. He's fast (but does'nt rush you) and effective. Stopped in on a Thursday morning and received an EXCELLENT adjustment! Pricing is similar to all other chiropractors (for one visit) although I did wish they had a monthly package. For instance my husband and I went to a chiropractor in Manteca and it was $120/month for my husband AND I to go twice a week! That would be only "complaint" (more like a suggestion) I have. If you are looking for a great Chiropractor, you need look no further. Dr. Taylor is a phenomenal doctor, very caring, and highly competent. In short, Dr. Taylor is a consummate professional. Several weeks ago I suddenly developed a very severe case of tinnitus. I was referred to an audiologist who told me that most people seek help once the noise level (or ringing) reaches 2 decibels. My test revealed that I had an uninterrupted 10 decibel signal in the right ear, and a little less in the left. No wonder this shrill high pitch noise was literally driving me crazy! There is no known cure for tinnitus. My doctors and the tinnitus chat rooms could offer me little or no help. A clinic in Stockton was suggested that attaches devices to the ears, but I was told not to expect much, if any relief. Out of desperation, I decided to seek help from a chiropractor. My medical doctors were not against trying this, but told me to be very careful. Recent MRIs had revealed that I have degenerative disc disease with cervical arthropathy in my neck. An improper adjustment of my neck could therefore have left me with very serious consequences. I was warned that some chiropractors would not be proficient enough to safely adjust me. After careful research, I became most impressed with Dr. Taylor's background and reviews. I decided to give him a try. When I arrived I was treated courteously and was seen very quickly. Dr. Taylor carefully listened to me. After reviewing my MRIs he came to believe that he could help me. Most importantly, he told me that he was very confident that in my case, a proper adjustment would, at the very least, not make me any worse. I decided to go ahead. My neck turned out to be WAY out of alignment. As was expected, the ringing in my ears intensified at first, but just two days after my first adjustment (during which time, as instructed, I periodically iced my neck to minimize potential swelling) I intermittently began to notice marked improvement. What a desperately needed and blessed relief! To date, Dr. Taylor has safely adjusted me several times, and I have achieved considerable improvement. Although I still have good and bad days, the good days continue to grow in number. Not only do I very highly recommend Dr. Taylor, but I would also advise anyone suffering from tinnitus to give him a call. I was a patient of Dr Drummond when Dr Taylor took over, I love that fact that he doesn't badger me to come in three times a week, I go in at least once a year and more if I have headaches, He always has time for me and anyone I bring in, I am in and out no waiting no bull, I can go on lunch know I am in and out, I went to Kaiser for Headaches, Had every test possible, every pain meds and every muscle relaxer, I walked into his office ready to throw up from pain, and I was smiling when I walked out, I was hesitant bc I worked in a medical office as they have patients come back twice a month and prolong the pain, so I went to Chiropractor after dr said there was nothing wrong with me, YET I COULD NOT HOLD A GLASS with my grip,, went to chiro and he should I had a pinched nerve and could only squeeze 20 in my right hand and 85 in my left. they adjusted my neck and I was in heaven, so much for scripts and dr visits and x rays, and PT weekly and hot pack treatments.. what a scam and I was in so much pain and the fact the drs didn't believe me,. the headaches were terrible, STOPPED MY LIFE... I went to a chiropractor in Turlock after my back injury and had great outcomes. I moved to Modesto and was referred to Michael Taylor. My last chiropractor sat down and discussed a plan of care. She then applied heat/massage therapy for 10 mins before or after getting adjusted. I walked into Michael Taylor and 10 mins later I was done. The only after care instructions I received was to come back to get readjusted again. No talk about after care or what I can do at home. He was more in a hurry to get me in and out. Dr. Taylor. I've met few gd guys out there that are very passionate about their professions. I'm a stickler and deep researcher in things I decide upon. I've had a sinus/ Eustachian tube issue for the past 6 years. I wouldn't have known a chiropractor had dealings with "some" sinus disorders do to the linking of the spine.. Little to no sleep, constant depression on how to fix my issue resulting to last resort surgery. Thankfully I haven't done the surgery yet. Coming upon my last 2 options were Dr. Taylor and a future ENT specialist I have yet to visit. I visited Dr. Taylors office today, and what can I say about us Taylors? To no relation we have I know we're very strong individuals. He was very pleasant and interested in my problem. When he cracked my neck, I felt like I had been in the gd presence of the great Bruce Lee. It sounded like the crunch of tortilla chips but a great sensational relief.. He also did my back which felt amazing.. I came home and slept then got ready for work. I work 12's so going into my 6th hour, I still feel great, no pain but he says if it happens to ice down.. I can breathe clearly, my posture is strong, I mean hands down this guy is great.. I was in a car accident a year ago and have never been to a chiropractor in my whole life. Shortly after the accident, I went to see one in a diff location. Boy, did I learn a lot from my accident. After going through Kaiser (pain doc, neuro doc, TMJ doc, and getting test after test after test done), I still wasn't healing. The only person I was excited to see was my physical therapist because she was the only thing that helped me. One year later, I ended up with some pinched nerve on neck and the pain got worse where it ran down my right arm. It was that moment that I asked about Dr. Taylor, to see if he was practicing. I was so happy to hear that he was still in practice. Through prayer, I was led to Dr. Taylor. One year later from my accident and after more pain and not healing well, I knew I had to go back to getting chiropractic care. For some reason, I just knew Dr. Taylor would be part of my healing. I am blessed. He is a wonderful doctor, very nice to be around with and I just had this amazing trust in him the moment I walked in his office. The practice is affordable and I travel far to see him because it is worth seeing him since he's been in practice for so long. He knows his stuff and keeps it simple without all the craziness. Dr. Taylor has a wonderful staff, they all are so kind. I have been feeling better with Dr. Taylor where Kaiser docs couldn't even figure out what to do with me. LOL.
