AVOID AT ALL COSTS I…read moremean this with no exaggeration whatsoever: I have never been so insulted, belittled, and infantilized by a medical practitioner in my entire life. This sorry excuse for a doctor does not give a rat's rear end about his patients, just their/their insurance companies' $$$. For my first appointment with him, which was the first time I was able to see a primary care doctor in a couple years, I needed a referral to a neurosurgeon for a very obvious spinal problem that I have from failed back surgery. Dr. Groan-felt here spends about 12 of our 15 minutes together going over my medication list (which I had gone over twice with the MA already) and then gives me the sorriest excuse of a physical "examination" I've ever seen, i.e. I got up on the table, was not even asked to remove my sweatshirt, and he listened to my heart/breathing for maybe 30 seconds, after which I was rudely dismissed. At the end of an appointment, especially for a new patient, I think most any doc would ask something along the lines of "do you have any other questions or concerns?". Dr. G? Not a chance. as soon as we hit the 15-minute mark on that appointment he handed me a lab form basically shooed me out and told me to come back in three weeks. Indignant, I asked if he was going to give me the referral to a neurosurgeon. He said we'd talk about it in three weeks, and when I pushed harder he condescendingly offered to write me an X-ray order, as if I didn't have X-rays, CTs, and two MRIs from the past year. Merely having the radiologist's reports for all of this was not enough, either, and he insisted he see the images himself before giving me the referral. What a petty, sad, miserable man to indulge in such schadenfreude. Oh, and after all that time spent going over my medications, my prescriptions never got sent in. It took six phone calls over seven days for his genius of a front office person to figure out she'd sent them to not just the wrong CVS, but one that had been closed for over a year. And the whole time she was convinced it was somehow my fault... Run far away; go see literally any other doctor.

I was assigned Dr. Roy Harris as my PCP. Although I prefer to have a female PCP, I was okay with scheduling all of my appointments with his NP Janina. She was awesome, but eventually moved out of state. I then scheduled with NP Wendy and was happy for the most part with the care I received. At around the time she retired, the practice brought a female MD on board. I thought, "Great, I can finally have a female MD as my PCP!" Her profile described her as exactly the doctor I had been waiting for. When I called the office to schedule an annual physical with her, I was told NO because Dr. Harris was my PCP. I told the scheduler that I was not comfortable with a male performing a physical and asked to change my PCP to Dr. Michelle Do. I was told that had to be "approved" by someone named Cynthia in the office and I would receive a call back later that day. While awaiting the call back (which never happened), I started reading reviews online and was appalled by the multiple negative reviews of Dr. Harris specifically. At that point, I was not just uncomfortable with having a male PCP, but with him being my PCP. It took two more calls to the office that week to ultimately be told by Cynthia that I could NOT change my PCP assignment. It did not matter to her that in 10 years, I had never had one appointment with him or that I was completely uncomfortable with him. She claimed the practice has a policy about switching doctors. When I asked for the policy via my patient portal, she admitted that there was nothing in writing. Anyone in health care knows that if it is not in writing, then it doesn't exist. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. By the end of my phone call, the scheduler Roberta and Queen Cynthia confirmed the following: If I were a brand new patient, then I could choose Dr. Do as my PCP. Because I was already a patient, I no longer had a choice. (Whichever PCP a patient starts with is who they are stuck with.) If I wanted an annual physical with a female, then I could schedule with a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. The female MD in their office was not a choice for me simply because my assigned PCP was Dr. Harris. Their supposed "policy" of not allowing patients to change their PCP is completely disrespectful. Brand new patients have a choice but established patients do not. Their website claims to "deliver personalized health care" and that their "philosophy is to provide individualized care", yet they will not allow patients to have a say in who provides their care. Horrible business model.

I have so much birth trauma from this negligent OB, he ended up losing his OB license shortly after the birth of my son as he was responsible for further negligence with other mothers & babies. You are better off going to absolutely anyone else besides this man. I really liked him up until my induction and delivery where I clearly didn't matter. We have recently been discussing possible moving locations into a new place, and believe it or not, relatively-close proximity to Stallant's location is a crucial factor in our decision making process. (Sumimasen, Japan. You'll have to wait!) That is because we go one or more times per week for a two-hour treatment for depression. I was once on the treatment, and my wife still is. Not only do they offer the hard-to-find treatment, but they have catered so much of their office model to be conducive to a relaxed and effortless treatment! I had an amazing experience at Stallant (though the treatment itself by nature has mixed results) and all of my cares and concerns about the drug-that-starts-with-an-S-and-ends-in-Vato were brought up before my first administration and I was handled with utmost care and comfort. They even upgraded the patient bed to the highest quality model as well as added a futuristic chair that I've informally dubbed, "The Space Captain's Throne." ## OFFICE :: The clinic has been classy-in-style since we first started going there, but they continue to improve and improve even more. They recently began redecorating the front reception area and waiting room, and I've been told that Trey Williams is the one to give a shout out to for some of the newest style additions - great job! ## STAFF :: When you meet the dynamic-duo of Stallant, Dr. Steffens and Dr. Gallant - (see what they did there?) - you'll realize why this place is so effective, successful, well-operated, impactful, and cutting-edge. The entire staff team operates like divine machinery across the diverse spectrum of services they provide. Each member feels expertly-selected for their role. ## PARKING LOT :: Beware, the parking-lot facing the front door to the clinic can get stuffy! Just proceed with caution because I've noticed after 300+ trips there over the years that there are many tight spots and blind spots. ## GARDEN :: There is a stunningly beautiful seasonal garden just outside the front doors. It's absolutely recommended (I'd say, required) to take a few minutes and appreciate. I've been told by the grounds mgr. that there's a young-at-heart couple whom takes care of the flower varieties. You can tell they put the loving essence of their heart into the work, because it blows me away. As of writing Spring '22, there's a beautiful butterfly floral arrangement, only identifiable if you pay attention - it's to the right facing toward the front door below the steps. ## "WEIMART" STORE :: It's not attached to the clinic, but it's still bound by the heart of the vicinity / community. The market serves an impressive variety of plant-based foods - for example, dairy-free cheeses that will make you go moo. And other hidden treasures, too. ## SUMMARY I am honest and sincere in everything I write both in my professional tech & arts career and as a Yelp reviewer. There's a reason we've willingly made over 300 trips (45-min drive each way) into the lush hills of Weimar/Colfax to Stallant Health - because the encapsulating experience and resulting spirit-lift is a wondrous experience in itself. After his first visit with her, and we saw how patient and compassionate she was we decided to switch to her. Dr. Dhanda is the most thorough doctor out there, with the best bedside manners. I had a chronic joint issue that went on for about 5 years undiagnosed by my previous doctor. She spent a great deal of time reviewing all my blood work and tests from over 7 years to facilitate in determining a cause. After she ordered a specific blood test for me she referred me to a specialist, and together they figured out what was causing my pain. During all my visits she has been nothing but extremely patient, caring and pleasant. She'll genuinely ask about my dad and wife, and the kids. Whenever I've emailed her through MySutter she has gotten back to me well within 24 hrs., and has seen me last minute or changed appointments last minute. If you're looking for a great doctor that will be there for you, has outstripped bedside manners, friendly, compassionate and thorough, then look no further.
