Dr. Michael Harris performed wisdom teeth extractions for both of my sons. The first in 2017 and my second just now in Aug 2020. Both procedures went extremely well, with as minimal impact on my kids as possible. I wrote a superlative review in 2017 and my positive opinion has only increased. Dr. Harris has a great personality, shows empathy toward the kids going through this ordeal and explains everything up front. As a result of his expertise our kids had as pain free extractions as one could imagine. Our family has had simply the best experiences with Dr. Harris and his handling of our kids. The office staff is also great. They too paid great attention to our son's needs as a patient or to our family's related needs. We had several phone conversations with the office regarding insurance coverage and some other items (Sherry I believe, as well as others). The staff went above and beyond to connect with the insurers to confirm coverages and always was responsive to our questions and concerns. Dr Harris and his office are our choice for sure. FYI, we highly recommend buying a facial ice pack (you can get them online) for kids to wear after surgery. Dr. Harris is simply put, just the best! My 12 year old daughter just had this December 2022 an oral surgery with Dr. Harris where he had to remove her two lateral teeth and create an exposure for another two teeth to come down on their place. I was very nervous about the procedure as my daughter has never had any kind of surgery before. My daughter was also very concern about the whole thing. Needless to say, my daughter did not feel any pain what so ever during the surgery and post surgery. I did not even had to give her children's Tylenol. All we did was put an ice pack outside of her mouth for one hour and that's all she needed. No inflammation, no bruising, no pain, nothing...absolutely nada! I completely recommend Dr. Harris! He is also very personable and kind. He provides assurance, confidence, and he walks you through everything he is planning on doing. He also consulted with my daughter's regular orthodontist prior to the surgery to ensure they were both on the same page as far as what needed to be done for the procedure. i recently had oral surgery to remove infected teeth from the right side of my mouth and also four teeth in the front where my bridge broke. dr. m. harris did these surgeries for me and they were successful. i didn't deal with much pain after each surgery which was awesome. dr. harris took the time to explain to me what needed to be done and how. the possible complications ans so on. which i can say some of my own dr's don't even do that. dr. harris was gentle when he was doing my surgeries and he was always asking if i was ok. he has a wonderful personality and chair-side manner. he is very passionate about his work and compassionate about his patients. my mouth has never felt better since dr. harris fixed it for me. he doesn't try to scare you when he tells you what needs to be done. he does everything in a calm voice. he makes you feel very relaxed when he is talking to you. the whole staff including the front desk will help you get settled and started with what you need to know if you need a good oral surgeon. dr. harris is very good. i would recommend him to my family, friends and people i don't even know.. thank you. roger p read more

Getting my wisdom teeth out was my first major surgery. I was extremely nervous to get it done, but the super kind atmosphere and comfortable office setting really had calmed me down. I went to Dr. Harris to get the pre-surgery checkup and he had explained the whole procedure, and answered all of the questions I had. My wisdom teeth were coming in sideways and even though the Doctor assured me that it would be okay I was still not looking forward to it. When I went in for the procedure he went over it again and made sure I was comfortable before putting me under. An hour later, I was awake and feeling no worse for wear. If I could recommend Dr. Harris 1 million times, I would. He is so good at his craft and his approach is very gentle. He is a true artist when it comes to Oral surgery. My recovery from my extracted wisdom teeth was only A couple days. I was really scared because I wasn't going to be put under general anesthesia and I am a giant wimp, but now I realize that it's unnecessary for this procedure! I even cried a little bit before we started the surgery because I was so scared & I thought light sedation wouldn't be enough. I was lightly sedated and I felt no pain or discomfort AT ALL! Dr Michael Harris and his Team absolutely rocks! I am a 58 yr. old man who found out I still had 2/wisdom teeth in my head that needed to come out. I was a bit nervous about having these removed and on the "day" of the procedure, as I sat in the dentist chair, Dr. Harris started talking to me and his Team about Ralph Kramden from the show The Honeymooners. I found myself mentioning certain episodes which seemed to enlighten the Doctor. Due to childhood experiences I have severe phobias when it comes to doctors and dentists. As a result of my phobias I did not visit the dentist as I should have, consequently I ended up need dentures. It took me a long time to just get up the nerve to walk into the dentist office. I was terrified of the procedures that were going to be necessary. Dr. Harris and his staff (Abby, Keila, Latoya, Lynda and Sherri) did everything they could to help my through the procedures. They put me in a twilight sleep and on 3 different occasions I felt nothing. They made sure that I was OK in recovery before leaving their facility. Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a baby when it comes to dental work, and not a very good patient, either. Let's just say I had some bad experiences growing up, when anesthetics were not commonly used. Learning that one of my teeth had to be extracted as an adult made me more than a little nervous. But Dr. Harris's staff made me feel very comfortable, and I trusted their assurances I would feel no pain. . I was absolutely thrilled with that procedure and the outcome. I was never in pain. And Dr. Harris has great hands, with a soft touch even with the first injection. I've had additional oral surgery by Dr. Harris since that first visit, and again I was delighted with the results and experience. I've been avoiding getting a wisdom tooth extraction from all the horror stories I've heard in the past. But in all honesty, working with Dr. Harris and his team was truly a pleasure. The team was able to assist in my appointment times even when my schedule was a bit tangled up due to my job and was able to accommodate without any issues. His assistants were knowledgeable and friendly. And Dr. Harris himself was great. He walked me through the entire process and assured a smooth procedure. Post extraction I expected the worst, but I was good to go in just a few days and actually wasn't even that bad right after the surgery. Dr. Harris came highly recommended to me by regular dentist. I had an issue with a molar that required oral surgery (sort of an emergency) and his office scheduled me right away on the same day. His office staff is very warm and friendly, accommodating to my needs. Dr. Harris has a wonderful 'bedside manner', listened to my concern, great conversation exchanges, and made me feel very comfortable. His office has top of the line equipment. Were it not for the fact that I needed him to resolve my issue, I would have enjoyed having him as my regular dentist--but of course, his practice is strictly for more complex dental needs. Dr. Harris is an excellent oral surgeon. Years ago my wife and I chose him to take our sons wisdom teeth out. Just recently I went to him for a tooth extraction. I was in very REAL PAIN! He looked at the exrays and told me I had two teeth that needed to come out. One I knew about for years and has never given me a problem. He showed me that I had an infection in it. One thing I noticed, he DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME ON REMOVING IT!! He just told me what his thoughts were on it. He let me be the judge on it. I chose to have it extracted with the other. Dr. Harris is no joke! He went to work right away, finished quickly, and made me feel at ease through out it all. If you ask me if I recommend him? My answer is ABSOLUTELY without any hesitation. I was a little nervous going into the procedure because I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the very beginning, the team made me feel comfortable, calm, and confident that I was in good hands. I went to Doctor Harris to have all 4 of my Wisdom teeth taken out, and definitely had a bit of nervous energy to start. He was super informative and made me feel extremely at ease. I trusted him completely, he made me feel extremely comfortable and I didn't feel a thing at all. I had to have a tooth surgically removed and get prepped for an implant and went to see Dr. Harris in Wellington, FL. I have to say that the entire extraction experience and the implant process were less of a hassle than the average tooth filling that one might get...no pain at all, a very comfortable setting, and the follow up sessions were painless (both in physical and logistical areas). I was dreading the experience, and while no one looks forward to oral surgery, I can say that it was about the least stressful and painful dental experience, let alone surgical experience, I have ever gone through. Dr Harris was a life saver. My birthday weekend was dampened by major tooth pain. I was able to get a Tuesday early AM appointment with my general dentist who quickly determined I need to have an infected wisdom tooth extract. One call to Dr Harris at 9am and he had me in by 9:45am. His staff was very attentive and kept me up to date on his availability throughout my visit. I got my wisdom teeth pulled here, in late Feb 2025 (18 yrs old). I was super nervous but Dr. Harris was confident and relaxed, which was calming. The healing process was much less painful than anticipated and I only took pain killers to sleep after the first day, since laying down increased the slight pain I felt. While I did get a very minor infection, it was my fault for irrigating incorrectly, and I was able to get an appointment immediately. Dr. Harris, who quickly cleared it, showed me how to irrigate properly and I have been fine since then. Overall, my biggest regret is that my mouth wasn't bigger to fit all my teeth, haha! read more

Wow! Nobody likes going in to get the inside of their mouth worked on and I was somewhat anxious, but wow! Was I ever in for a surprise! Dr. Harris gave me the best experience I have ever had. I had 6 teeth, most broken, removed by Dr. Harris and his concern to make it painless went above most Dentist I have seen. I have a major heart condition and He made sure my heart condition was under control the entire time I was there.
